Worst!!! After bailing on surgery day of, then next day post ER visit, she scheduled me for a consult almost a week after my finger was severed, and “closed up” at ER. Rescheduled me for surgery next day after consult. After speaking with four different people regarding my surgery start time, I arrived 10 minutes early to my 1215 arrival time, I was checked in and waiting for a nurse to take me back for preop instead another nurse comes out pulls me into a side room and starts interrogating me as to why I’m late and tells me they are canceling my surgery. States because I didn’t come in and take a third Covid test in less than a week they canceled my appt. Even though I called at 9:03 am the morning of surgery and spoke the front desk nurse who “confirmed” Covid test negative and reconfirmed a third time 1215 arrival. After all this, her office calls me later in the day to say she’s furious with her staff (not professional), yet she three times was unresponsive at the ER, she never once spoke directly to me or consulted directly with me. She had staff look at my finger instead. Reading a few reviews and other feedback I guess I’m not the only one. I can only hope between now and my next schedule surgery I don’t get an infection and lose my finger because of this incompetent “Surgeon” and her staff. Meanwhile I’m in the process of getting a lengthy approval from VA to see someone else who has a list of clients and a schedule booked out! Starting all over… I’m a practitioner in this state, I can’t tell you how many of my clients are appreciative when I call back and engage with them whether it’s an appt or we are working through a treatment plan. Communication is everything. What trust in the process, the surgery and people waking you up from surgery can one have at this point? People don’t want to be going in for even out patient surgery with an incompetent staff assisting a flaky surgeon. Current trend in Western medicine-Sad.
She was very personable. Put me at ease right away.
My experience with Dr Jain was good. I had carpal tunnel surgery.. it was pretty straight forward surgery. No more painfully numb hand when I sleep at night. It's been 6 weeks so Im still recovering. Ill find out if I can carry bags without having numbness. Over all it was a good experience.
Dr. Jain provided consultation and subsequent treatment of my Dupuytren's Contracture. My expectations were fully met and exceeded. Her manner of explaining my condition and providing options for treatment were outstandingly clear. Dr. Jain's expertise is matched by a cordial and professional demeanor. I cannot imagine a better experience. I was so impressed with her expertise and my results that I reviewed her background AFTER completion of services, and saw confirming education and career paths that explained it all.
I have a really good experience so far. I get injection in my thumbs. May need surgery down the road. I'll update if anything changes.
I would highly suggest choosing another hand surgeon. My son was referred to Dr. Jain by Westsound Orthopedics. We brought our son for an evaluation with Dr. Jain and she ordered an MRI. The MRI order was sent to a Kaiser Radiology in Tacoma. I called several times in the month long wait for my son’s MRI appointment requesting pre-auth be done for InHealth Imaging where all my son’s prior imaging is done. I got one call back saying “we sent it” but Kaiser never got it. Then we never heard back from Dr. Jain’s office after the imaging was done. Nothing. We decided to get a second opinion since our pediatrician felt it was a time sensitive issue. We are now scheduled for surgery at Children’s Hospital. Due to the injury not being handled properly to begin with at Westsound and then treatment being delayed at Dr. Jain’s, he will have permanent damage and an extensive recovery. Wish we stayed out of the CHI system completely.
I am disappointed in the results of surgery (PIP middle finger replacement). I explained to her that I wanted the surgery to reduce pain and to improve range of motion. She assured me that the surgery would accomplish those requirements. I am now 10 months post op and the pain is gone but I have limited ability to flex the joint...much more limited than before the surgery. She shared a medical paper that says that I might not see improved flexion. The problem is that she showed me the paper AFTER the surgery. She also claims that the my flexion is the same is as pre-op and that is simply not true. If i had to do it over again, I would not have the surgery or DEFINITELY NOT BY DR. JAIN.
Dr. Jain and her Staff are outstanding. Her staff is friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout the entire surgical process. Dr. Jain's surgical skill is simply unmatched. While surgery is never fun, I would not hesitate to go back if the need arose.
I had surgery three days ago and while it isn't really a pleasant thing to have, Dr. Jain and her staff were excellent. I was up and at 'em after two days. She calmed me down and I was so relaxed during the surgery that I could have gone to sleep. I found her to be very professional and so charming. She would be a wonderful friend. I've put off this carpal tunnel surgery for several years and if I had known it was this simple, thanks to Dr. Jain's knowledge, I would have had it a long time ago. I would HIGHLY recommend her for any surgery. Her assistant, Paula, was great to deal with also.
An absolute nightmare. I had surgery on my hand in February, within 4 days I was in the ER due to infection. They didnt put a wound vac or even a drainage tube. I was told to go straight to my surgeon, I went the next morning and she wasn't there and wasnt gonna be there for 3 more days. So back to the er I go. Mind you the hospital and myself are calling over and over and all failed to get a hold of her. Yeah Margaret you know who this is and what you did to me was total malpractice. After multiple hospalizations and surgery's it is now gonna be October and I'm still having to go to the wound clinic twice a week to fix her botched surgery and negligent practices. I'll post pictures soon

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
