Dr. Claypool is personable, with great chairside manner. He is calm, deliberate. Very thorough, considerate. His assistant Alyssa was very sympathetic, kind, and gentle. If this review platform wasunavailable, I was going to write a letter of how impressed I was, particularly about Alyssa.

It was all a very good experience. The staff in the surgery center were kind, knowledgeable and efficient. The same should be said for the staff in the exam center. The whole office manages every aspect of getting the patient in/out smoothly - scheduling, finances, medications and follow-up. Dr. Sturbaum is all-business and still takes time to chat. He is very nice to talk to. (Posted for Paul)

My husband recently saw Casey here for us to establish with a new full service eye clinic. The office collected $45 for my husband to be provided with a "written reader rx" ... which you can get OTC. They did not provide him with the written Bifocal Rx he needed for work. We realized it was missing in the paperwork he came home with. To get the bifocal rx in hand would be another $45. Upon receipt of our insurance EOB, they charged over $500 for his eye exam!! We will not be returning due to the excess charges, their phone does not get answered. They do not have clinic that dispenses eye glasses therefore this is why they charge for your prescriptions to be provided .. so they can get a "piece of the pie" if you getting your prescription filled. What a dishonest way of caring for people.
