I had a wonderful experience with Dr. McDermott. She took the time to listen and address all my concerns. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. I enjoy that she looks for a holistic approach that combines western medicine with natural remedies.

Dr McDermott is a kind and compassionate professional. She is very knowledgeable about western medicine and also healthy lifestyles including nutrition. She she is friendly and approachable. She is good with follow up. She truly cares for her patients. She has made good recommendations for me.

She jumped to conclusions regarding a diagnosis and wrote the patient off as a mentally ill individual, because she didn't know what was wrong. She stated that the endocrine tests she was given were insignificant, yet that was the very diagnosis. She was producing close to zero cortisol and zero thyriod (T-3, T-4). If the patient would have waited for Dr. McDermott to diagnose her (as she was working as a hospitalist) she would have died.
