I had my first cataract eye surgery and Dr Kontos was amazing. He explained what he was doing, his whole team was outstanding and kind . I was very nervous and they made me feel calm. Everything went as planned. I had absolutely no pain and my vision is great!

It is hard to put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Kontos and his staff! I had the most pleasant experience from start to finish with my LASIK treatment. I found comfort in his expertise and genuine care for my eye health. I will definitely recommend him to everyone!!! Thank you Dr Kontos for changing my life!

I have read some of the reviews on here and am shocked. I don’t have anything bad to say about Dr Kontos at all. He is a great surgeon and seemed to care for my eye health very much. I will forever be grateful for helping me see and will recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Kontos very dismissive and rude. Office surgical coordinator sarcastically insulting when we questioned the need for a stent. Would have canceled procedure but for the fact of patient's elderly age and need to just get it done. Would never recommend him. All staff at the actual surgery. center very nice, , friendly and helpful.

Dr. Kontos is all business, which might be construed by some to be distant and rude, but I find refreshing. My wife and I both have had Dr. Kontos do lasik surgery on both eyes, and both of us had great results. I also had a mult-focal lens put in one eye and it has turned out great, I can actually see the cockpit of my motorcycle without having to wear reading glasses inside of my helmet. I have plans to have the second eye done in the fall, and Dr. Kontos will do it, I would not trust anyone else.

Dr Kontos is Ok but not friendly. Scheduler was incompetent and made many mistakes. Surgery Center was great with very patient nurses and receptionist in surgery very friendly. Expressed my concerns but nothing was acknowledged by Dr Kontos as to my concerns.

Dr. Kontos was distant, dismissive and, rude but I let that go as I heard he was a great surgeon. But at post op appointment the following day I realized no patient should accept that or be subjected to that. I am also not happy with results of my cataract surgery. The nurses and anesthesiologist were terrific. Needless to say I will not return for my other eye or anymore follow up. Bad experience all around.
