I had a very complicated surgical case due to a compression fracture made more difficult due to ankylosing spondylitis. He significantly over delivered in his promises in my situation and we were able to not only stabilize my fracture, but I was able to get significant improvement with my cervical kyphosis. I’m so thankful for the work that he did. He was fabulous at follow up and made sure to check on in on me multiple times, even on a Sunday afternoon. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Tomov was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable while discussing my back issues. He has a great sense of humor and is professional at the same time. The whole team was great and friendly as well!!!!

I saw Dr. Tomov for my lower back pain and sciatic nerve pain. He took the time to evaluate me and did not make me feel rushed or unimportant. He was very knowledgeable and referred me for more imagery along with physical therapy and injections. He took the time to listen to me and offered help on becoming pain free without surgery. I would recommend Dr. Tomov to anyone with back pain.

Dr. Tomov made it clear that unless a surgical knife was needed, he was not really interested in helping me with my thoracic and lumbar pain. I explained that I had MRI results showing moderate to severe facet joint degeneration with moderate foraminal narrowing. He reported that "he never looks at MRI results". He did do some x-rays which he interpreted as a straight spine "looking pretty good" for my age (70). Dr. Tomov may be an excellent surgeon but I will not be seeing him again.

Dr Tomov was very attentive to my needs. He made sure to follow up we me personally after surgery. Very good surgeon!

Dr. Tomov was friendly and knowledgeable. I went for a consult for persistent lower back issues, and I like how he didn’t immediately recommend expensive surgery but instead offered some non-invasive steps to try before surgery!
