List of Matthew K. Wallace's Reviews
Dr. Wallace did a fantastic job treating my son who severely broke his collarbone while mountain biking. He recommended surgery and the bone healed perfectly with a plate on it. Dr. Wallace provided me with enough information about the injury and healing process that when my second son broke his collarbone while playing sports, I knew exactly what to expect. He did not recommend surgery for my second son and walked him through the healing process. I’m thankful for Dr. Wallace.
Wish I could leave a zero star. I will regret for the rest of my life the day I agreed to allow Dr. Wallace to do surgery on my shoulder. From my first visit he was arrogant, curt, unwilling to take time to explain what he intended to do, and when results proved to be poor, he refused to tell me what he had done, or why. Accused me of not doing post surgical therapy which was completely false and told me he didn't have time to explain ultrasound results, that he ordered. Other physicians have explained to me, from my own copy of my records, what was done, but no one can explain why he did what he did, that caused permanent damage. I'm now a year and half past surgery and will never have full use of my arm, and will live with the chronic pain resultant from mistakes he made. I'm continuing with specialized physical therapy, with hopes for small improvements. However my serious sincere advice to anyone reading this, is to find another doctor.
Very friendly, he knows his business and everything always goes smoothly. He did my left knee surgery 6 years ago and I walked out of the hospital the next day. I have had no problems and it made my life so much better.
I’ve struggled with hip pain and weakness for a year. After the first surgeon I saw told me to get an injection and do PT (which I had previously done for 5 months) for a soft tissue tear that wouldn’t repair itself, I found Dr Wallace. He was incredibly through and was very clear about what I could reasonably expect. He was kind and warm. Hands down the best surgery experience I have ever had.
Dr Wallace repaired my rotator cuff and did a great job. We had a issue with medication that was frustrating but overall experience was good
Almost no waiting at office visits, friendly and professional. Easy to contact post surgery after hours and they are helpful and understanding. I had a total knee replacement that was quite a success and have scheduled surgery for my other knee. Recovery is difficult but worth it.
Dr. Wallace has done a total joint replacement of both of my knees. One in January and the other in November of 2022. He is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an Orthopedic Surgeon.
Dr. Wallace has performed shoulder surgery on me a couple years ago to great success and now to my elbow. Would go nowhere else!
Dr Wallace and his entire staff have been very attentive to my orthopedic needs concerning injuries to my knee.
The office and surgery center really care about you .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
