I had a cancerous tumor removed from my colon by Dr Juliver in the month of October and also had other issues. I don't understand the details of the surgery, however, I do know I was a very sick patient. I had a 13 day stay in the hospital. I am finishing my 2nd week of recovery, and things are working well just as the Doctor said. One visitor per day, my wife and many of 5 children were with me when Dr Juliver would stop by and give us updates. He was very patient and empathic as he answered many of our questions.

Dr. Juviler made me feel completely at ease. He answered all of my questions in language I was able to understand and gave me all of the pros and cons. His bedside manner is caring and compassionate. He was able to perform my surgery with no complications. His follow up and aftercare made me feel completely at ease (even when I had questions that I thought were dumb). He says there are no dumb questions. He and his staff are outstanding and I would recommend him without question to anyone who needed his expertise.

I would recommened Dr. Juviler to anyone. He saved my life and trust me when I say I had many issues, He handeled me with kindness, paitence, and never one time did he humble me, I wish he could be my regular Doc all the time. He really is amazing.

This man works miracles. He worked on my brother who has been a Crohns patient for many years and together with Dr. Timothy Bax they were able to operate locating a new stohma and repairing the wound where the old one had been. Jim had a difficult recovery because of kidney, lung, and heart problems but has made it through it all.

Dr. Juviler is the most knowledgeable & experienced Doctor in his field. His sensitive & compassionate care make you feel calm and worry free even when facing a major surgery. Dr. Juviler listens to his patients concerns & understands their needs. I have never experienced another physician with these qualities.

Seeking help for hemorrhoids was very difficult. Dr Juviler and his staff really put me at ease. Travis at the front desk, Samantha, his medical assistant, and especially Dr Juviler himself all made me glad I chose this office to address my health issue. Dr Juviler performed a hemorrhoidectomy after completely informing me of the procedure and what to expect during my recovery. He answered all my questions thoroughly and honestly. I am happy to recommend him.

I am a health care executive. My mother is a retired RN who was the surgical nurse for the chief of surgery. She is 83 years old and presented with a bowel obstruction that would require surgery. Juviler gave her two options: he said he could resect the colon or "...we could do nothing, have her blow up inside, pat her on the back and wave goodbye." Classy. When he said it was cancer, my folks broke down and all he said was, "crazy, huh?" We clearly fired him.

The first meeting with Dr. J was awkward when he talked he would look up at the ceiling. Now after having him for surgery he is an amazing doctor I would highly recommend him to anyone. He's very caring and no questions are dumb he answers every question you have in terms that are easy to understand for someone who doesn't know much about medical. A big thank you to Dr. J!!

Wonderful amazing surgeon.,.. we feel so fortunate having him taking care of my husband Jim... will always recommend him to anyone... Holy Family Hospital is the best in Spokane.
