I asked Dr. Todd Canon of South Austin Medical Clinic to refer to a dermatologist as a referral to a specialist is required for my insurance. I needed a tiny raised bump removed on my inner thigh. Instead of referring me Dr. Canon greedily said he would do the procedure. He removed them tiny bump (pen point size) on my inner thigh, then cauterized it leaving a nearly centimeter-wide burn and hole in my leg. There is now the potential for scarring. I can't walk or wear normal clothes and my job requires walking. My dermatologist nurse said this could have been handle with a stich and I would not have been left with a wound or scar. Unacceptable.
