Was taken to Sacred Heart for trauma surgery. (Dr. French was the surgeon on call.) I needed some of my intestines removed; the sewing of the two ends back together was done poorly and so feces leaked into my abdomen. After a week of getting sicker and sicker, another surgeon had to re-do the operation to sew the ends back together properly. Complications from internal scar tissue caused extreme pain. Dr. French took days to respond to my calls to the office for help. Office staff is rude; billing staff is a joke. I am still dealing with Billing a year later because they have billed using the wrong ICD codes for the surgery, and insurance then keeps kicking it back out. I've given up. Paid the whole bill ($2600) just to get these people out of my life. Permanently. I would rather die than deal with this surgical practice, most especially Dr. French, again. (BEWARE! They pretty much have a monopoly on all surgeries in this town if you want to use Sacred Heart)

Absolutely disappointing and disgusting at the lack of listening to me. He performed a triple hernia surgery on me, But after the surgery I was still feeling high levels of pain. I went back to him twice and he told me there was nothing wrong with me. He actually used the words, “I guarantee there’s nothing wrong with you”. We went into another doctor for a second opinion and I was taken care of. Turns out I have another hernia and am due to have surgery with a different surgeon.I lived for months with this pain and he never listened to help me.

Dr. French fixed an abdominal hernia for me and did a phenomenal job. I was SUPER anxious about the procedure but his confidence, attitude and ability to explain what would happen helped put me at ease. looking back now, I was way more anxious about the procedure than I should have been. If you are looking for a top-notch surgeon, go with Dr. French!

He addressed my problem with promptness and ensured my follow-up visit was smooth. I couldn’t recommend Dr French highly enough. His staff and the ladies at the front desk are top notch too.
