I find them very helpful and that they do the best they can

I came here for help with dibilitating stress regarding my debt and bad financial situation, as well as the overall stress of living in a late stage Capitalist hellscape. My counselor insisted that debt was "normal people stuff" and that it doesn't make sense to be traumatized by financial hardships. She effectively made me feel even more insecure about my problems than I was when I came to see her. She was also clueless with me in general. I am admittedly more self aware than the stereotypical counseling patient, but I could tell she never knew what to tell me, other than to do some breathing exercises that I was already in the habit of doing... I personally got more help from YouTube. I still recommend therapy for those who feel they need it, but don't go with Susan Welde if you're having financial related stress/trauma.

The establishment was warm in their office. I asked to at least leave the door open. They said "legally" they can't & if so they wouldn't carry on the conversation. That is wrong. They don't actually want to help people. They are refusing to allow me to go on med only treatment. This establishment doesn't even care about me. I had asked her to have me on med only. She said I HAVE to have a phone call. I do not take phone calls because I get a ton of scam calls. I asked for email or text. They won't accept that. I tried asking several times to sign for med only but they don't give me anything. I'm waiting for an acceptance letter.Sprague Union Terrace is forcing me to move & they won't provide a reason. I did Nothing illegal. They Collab with the behaveral health system to displace people with disabilities on the street & no organization for the disabled actually help. Such as catholic charities, goodwill, salvation army. And other of these so called helping the needy don't actually help the needy. The behaveral health for the mentally disabled is rigged and don't actually help, they all colab together and force you to be compliant to their weird rules by forcing you to take meds & if you don't comply they make you homeless. If you are homeless they keep your social security disability checks at the payee or they force you into a group home that takes all your money and you only get 20 dollars. The system is rigged.

Every time I would make an appointment for the orientation they would call me last minute and say that they over booked or it was cancelled.

A nurse made a fatphobic remark to my partner who has an eating disorder after weighing her. No matter what her intentions were you need to know comments like that, made even in jest, can KILL a person. Literally. You made her shut down and later she cried about it. She is already extremely depressed and suicidal, being shamed for her weight is the LAST thing she needs. She knows she is heavy and it is one of the things she is most sensitive about. This is MENTAL HEALTH facility ffs, y'all should know better. This is only one of many terrible experiences I've had with FBH but I had no better way of reporting this incident! Probably won't even be seen by their staff but I can at least warn other people that you can expect this kind of treatment.

Incompetent and abusive. Don't go here. They will MESS YOU UP!!!!

Yeah it's a great service but as of late it feels as thought they have desided to distance themselves from there clients so much so that i called about a 9:00 appointment i had got hung up on then called a charlatan after giving the Receptionists my name and who i was seeing twice and put me on hold just so i can reschedule. You bet I'm bringing this up at my next appointment.

I have been their a long time. Their always ready and willing to help great staff
