Dr. Butler lacks knowledge of the patient's medical history, medication protocol, and the reason for the referral. In addition, as the patient, I had to use my cell phone to show medical tests and medication to Dr. Butler, detracting from the visit. Dr. Butler discounted the pain I experienced and suggested any pain felt due to past injuries. The doctor even commented that I should consider "Lap Band Surgery" to reduce pain and stress on my joints. This statement seems unwarranted and without a thorough understanding of my medical history. I left this meeting feeling that Dr. Butler treated the "Black" stereotype versus the individual patient that happens to be African-American. My visit with Dr. Butler left me dejected and feeling as if I would never find the answers to the pain I experienced. I will seek more inclusive care from another provider.

I appreciate Dr. Butler's knowledge, experience, and care. Unfortunately, his support staff (when I call in) are indifferent and unsympathetic. I may yet change to a different practice because of their total lack of care, which is totally opposite of Dr. Butler himself.

Dr. Butler has been my rheumatologist for years. He is the one who first diagnosed me as an adult when I had had JRA since I was 5 years old. He is the BEST!!!!! Knowledgeable and caring. Explains things very well.

Dr. Butler and PA Sander are the best. In Texas Doctors send me home to die. I move to Spokane in 2016 Doctor Butler started an effective treatment which is Rituxan infusion. I been able to see my babies grow to teenagers now.

I've been an RA patient with Dr. Butler for over 15 years and I am very satisfied with the excellent care, knowledge, and attention he has provided in treating me. Additionally his Medical Assistants Meagan, Jenny and most recently Parker, are also excellent to work with as well. I want to acknowledge PA Erin Saunders as well. My routine checkups rotate between Dr. Butler and PA Saunders, and she provides the very same excellent care, knowledge, and attention, and I very much appreciate that.

Dr. Butler takes the time to talk to me and let's me take the time to explain everything I want to tell him. I feel like he really cares and genuinely wants to make me feel better. I would recommend him too my family and friends.
