Dr. Janout is THE BEST!! I just had my fifth surgery with him. He is caring, compassionate, and really takes the time to carefully listen and then explain or answer questions. He truly cares about you as a patient and person.

Absolutely not. This doctor's actions fly in the face of the Hippocratic Oath, ethics, and basic human rights. Do not see this doctor if you care about your human rights. He will not hesitate to violate your rights as a patient or as a human being. All he cares about is money, just ask his wife. He's a narcissistic, sociopathic, greedy, incompetent prick.

I had a reverse total shoulder replacement and carpal tunnel release done by Dr. Janout. Both surgeries had positive outcomes.

Dr. Martin Janout, MD out at Northwest Orthopedic Specialist in downtown Spokane has been for lack of better words a miracle worker for me! I do a lot of art and crafting of all kinds that involve using my hands and grasping items. So, when I found out I had no more Cartlidge in my thumb joints I was devastated! Dr. Janout successfully gave me both my hands back after performing bone fusions on both hands. I was honestly surprised and extremely happy at how much improved mobility I gained with my hands. Dr. Janout always showed genuine concern and empathy while also being very honest in explaining my options in full making sure I understood and was able to make a well informed decision. I recommend Dr. Janout all the time to seek his medical expertise and I will continue to do so!
