Dr. Carri Jo Timmer is amazing! I hope she never leaves Tacoma. She asks you several questions and really tries to get to the root cause of any issue before slapping any medicine on you. She is relatable and empathetic. You get a genuine feeling she cares for the well-being of her patients as a whole. The only cons can be a sometimes long wait to see her but that is because she gives personalized attention to each patient. She probably needs to see less patients in a day; However that will never happen.

So the problem with being a first time mom is that you have no comparison to go by if your recieving standard care until you get upset enough to go someone else and it dawns on you what you've been missing. Dr. Timmer never told me I had plecenta pervia even though it was in an ultrasound report she ordered. She withheld information that I had an UTI until my next visit even though I went physically down to the clinic and my prescription was 10 feet away. I would not recommend Dr. Timmer nor Tacoma Family medicine to anyone.
