Therapy can be an undertaking, but going through it with Lauren has been an amazingly freeing experience! Lauren makes me feel so valued and she always reinforces the validity of my emotions while helping me through difficult moments. Carrie has been a close friend for over 27 years. She has always been a good listener and offers very constructive advice. She’s compassionate , caring and understanding. She’s been with me through the highs and lows. Always keeping me focused and looking ahead to better days . She’s the real deal and passionate about helping others. The messenger is the message. The most important ‘technique’ in counseling is the personhood of the counselor. Research suggests that it is the personal qualities (i.e., being authentic, empathic), rather than the counseling skills of the counselor that matters to a client in the helping encounter. Noel Villarivera, being a pastor himself (and thus adept at Christian principles) is your perfect Christian counselor. I find him as a man of consistency and transparency, and he has this deep concern for others. If you are looking for a listening ear and a helping hand in your journey to spiritual healing, Pastor Noel can serve you. Your core values and his' match: he believes that God, not him or your self, is the greatest or ultimate healer.
