Worst braces consult

Disorganized, make you wait six months for dentures, after you've paid for them! They don't have you choose your denture color or make sure they fit with your other dentures. They Cancel appointments and make you wait months, in pain. I had three teeth pulled, got such an infection that I was in the ER, with pus pockets in my mouth. Yet, they could not get me in immediately to address the issue. They will not return repeated phone calls for assistance. They take your money, and treat you like you are on some type of assistance. Terrible office!

Everyone was friendly and efficient at my visit, and they got me in right away for important visit.

Dr. Clemens and Rose make a great team and take such good care of me and my son. Always kind, informative and most of all gentle with the dental work.

Thankfully I was able to switch during open enrollment and will not be going back. I look forward to getting my damaged front tooth fixed and I look forward to being listened to at my new office and treated like a person not just a number. They botched my orthodontic care, which has left me with pain and a less than stellar outcome. They did a recommended a procedure and after I decided to go ahead and have it done, they then made me feel bad about it, as if I had been cheap and wasn't worth their time when the procedure failed. It also shouldn't take a year to get a filling repaired and then when you have your filling repaired them, use the opposite material that you requested after telling them multiple times I wanted silver. Then being up charge you and leave you with a filling that's half silver and half white. I was told it was my fault and I should have checked with the dentist before he preformed the repair. The woman in the office I talked to was very rude and dismissive when I spoke about it as soon as I realized what had happened upon checking out. A basic cleaning of a person with healthy gums, who flosses daily, has good oral hygiene also shouldn't leave you with a damaged tooth, in pain, with bruised and bleeding gums. I never received a call back about what happened to me. They only reached out on yelp and asked me to call them.... It's a hard pass.

I have gone to Willamette for many years. I switched to a cheaper one a few years ago and was not at all impressed, so I switched back to Willamette as soon as I could the next year. Both the dentist and hygienist were excellent. I had the most thorough but gentle cleaning from the hygienist (McKenna) this year than I have ever had. I was so impressed. Thank you to the Tacoma group!!

Easy to get appointment. Staff is friendly and courteous. You’ll have a thorough understanding of your options for treatment and plan of care. Just a great team with great service!

Dr. Shim and his assistant Angelina spent so much time flirting with each other and talking about their social life, such as when and where they were all meeting for drinks that week, or the cost of his apartment in Seattle that he doesn’t actually use very often, that I almost left in the middle of a procedure. I was concerned they were too distracted with their socializing that they wouldn’t be able to focus on their actual job (my procedure). I had never felt so disrespected or like a fly on the wall than that. The complete lack of professionalism was very upsetting and now I’m having issues with the work he did which comes unfortunately as no surprise.
