My wife was in terrible pain, frightened and despondent when she arrived at the ER in Issaquah. After a brief assessment, Dr. Karch looked her in the eyes, patted her shoulder and gave the most reassuring bedside talk I've ever heard from a medical professional. Within moments she was transported from the depths of despair to hopefulness. Last night she said over and over that every medical professional should take lessons from that guy. I couldnt agree more.
