Abel Acupuncture Clinic's Online Review Report Card

I have been 3 for 3 with Dr. Greg and Abel Acupuncture. In a series of appointments, issues in my lower back, right knee, and left foot were all addressed 100%. Dr Greg’s focused Electro-stimulus technique enabled focused relief to these three key areas. Along with all the learnings about Chinese medicine, I feel my eyes have been opened to a new world of medical treatment and approach. If you have those nagging pains that typical western approach can’t seem to address, I’d highly encourage you to make an appointment with Dr. Greg for a unique approach that has certainly worked for me.

Honestly this review is long overdue, but in hindsight I am glad I waited to write it. I have been seeing Greg Catanese regularly (every 1-4 weeks) for the last 6 months. He has changed my life in multiple ways- I truly am so grateful. He has helped my digestion and has improved stomach issues, that I have suffered with for years. I never realized how much stress, tension and discomfort I held in my neck, shoulders and back until Greg relieved it all. Every time someone asks me about my acupuncture experience my response is “I would live there if I could”. I’m not lying, these are the only appointments in my life that I have never dreaded or wanted to cancel. Not to mention Terri is one of the sweetest and most sincere ladies I have ever met. She pulled so many strings to get appointments for me with little notice. None of this would be possible without her too! I could probably write you an essay on why I think everyone should visit an acupuncturist like Greg at least once in their life. Bottom line…give it a shot, it could change you!

I very highly recommend Dr. Cantanese. I originally went to the clinic for some nervous system/emotional grounding and this took a couple of sessions. I mentioned that I have had hip pain for just over a year and we decided to work on that as well. My hip felt better after one session and after two, it currently has NO pain. I didn't even know this was possible. The treatment is amazing, but the doctor also has a warm, calming, and incredibly supportive presence that makes the process a joy.

I've had foot pain for over 6 years that has progressively gotten worse and was affecting my quality of life. I'm on my feet for 12 hrs a shift as a nurse, and I would go home limping. I couldn't go for walks or hike without serious pain, and often I would have to just avoid those activities. Greg took lots of time to talk to me to understand where and how it hurt. Within 3 treatments my pain is decreased by 75%, I finally have hope that I will be pain free soon! No intervention I've tried has given me even close to this much relief. Greg is so kind, gentle and communicates thoroughly.

After a car accident I wasn’t healing as fast as I had hoped. I added acupuncture to my chiro and massage regimen. I noticed a difference after my first acupuncture treatment. I look forward to my weekly appointment. Hope I can continue treatment even after I heal from this car accident. Thank you!!

Once again, Greg saved me. I woke up with back problems that prevented me from being able to move and more pain than I ever remember feeling. Abel got me in the same day and Greg’s magic brought me incredible relief. His knowledge also sent me to a chiropractor with the information I needed to further correct the issue. I can never speak highly enough about this man and his incredible capability of healing.

Dr. Greg is amazing! He is extremely proficient at his craft. He is positive, thorough, and transparent throughout the treatment process. He explains why he is doing what he is doing as part of the treatment plan. Dr. Greg truly cares about the patient health. Terry at the front desk is so kind and friendly as well. Together they make a great team that really takes care of the patient throughout the treatment journey. Thanks Dr. Greg and Terry! P.S. Dr. Greg is also really funny!

An absolutely marvelous experience! Expert diagnosis and incredibly effective treatment! The fact that Dottore Greg is the most personal, understanding, empathetic person is a huge “cherry-on-the-top” bonus. He will be my “Go-To” resource for any ailment in the future!
