List of Acunatural Family Healthcare's Reviews
My family started to see Paul Rosen when I was 12-14 years old. My grandmother, mother and I were all looking for help with our health, for one reason or another. I thought this would specifically help with my extremely painful cramps. I was coming home doubled over in pain, vomiting and screaming. My grandmother knew about my pain problems and told us to go to AcuNatural for help. I got better! We took out a lot of different things from my diet and the pain I felt slowly went away. Paul also told my family about different problems I had, including thyroid issues and the possibility I would become diabetic. I was happy that I wasn't in pain anymore, but something just didn't feel right. Sometimes when we had our visits I wouldn't have kept up with the regiments. I, being a child who didn't want to say I had missed days, lied. I didn't want to be in trouble. Problem was, Paul would get through the test and say how happy he was, that I did so good on the tests. That I was so much healthier. I thought it was weird, maybe I was somehow just passing the tests and Paul was not picking up on the small differences. It is every month, which is a long time to see minute changes. I had an Idea! I decided I would test this out. I already kept track of what was/wasn't on my food lists, so I added natural sugars back into my diet. A big no no! As months went by, this wasn't picked up on in tests, so I went further. I added dairy back in and still no differences in my testing. Finally I decided to tell my mother what I was doing. She didn't believe me at first, but she soon realized too and eventually we stopped going. All together this testing and diet restriction really messed me up. I, since then, have had eating disorder tendencies. I have been unlearning my unhealthy relationship with my body and the food I consume. I can't say that this was all due to the testing, but it definitely didn't help. Another aspect of this, is the cost. I low balled all of my estimates (test, evaluation and supplements). You can see my calculations here if you'd like to check my math: monthly test $80 = t bi-monthly supplements $107.25 = v evaluation $179 (t)12+(v)6=$1,603+e=$1,782 annual total cost (This total is based on my mother and I's care. The test estimate was based from google's low end of average cost for said tests. The supplement estimate was based from Standard Process's own store (small bottles only) prices. The supplement estimate is also only based on what I took and did not include my mother's. The evaluation fee is based on another review's pricing, so this could be inaccurate from the time frame of when my family went.) We went here for at least 2 years and my grandmother for more. I really appreciate if you took the time to read all this. It really is a lot. My experience here was A LOT. I could say so much more, but I'll leave off with this: If you really, truly believe in this, test it yourself. Don't take some person's review as fact or evidence. Only you can prove that this works or not. It's also super easy to do. If Nutritional Response Testing works, it should be able to pick up on whether you are following the diets and taking the supplements. It should not need your vocal input. Paul Rosen should not need your input to prove the testing works.
I started going to AcuNatural after listening to Paul Rosen on the radio for several months. I grew up in a nutritionally minded household, so many of his programs made sense to me. I have always taken supplements, but Paul's approach to find out exactly what is needed for each individual was appealing. I was facing potential gall bladder surgery if I had any more episodes that took me to the emergency room, so I decided to see him for help. The change in my eating habits and particular supplements for me have done the trick. I have had no more gall bladder issues, take no medications and am in better health than many of my 78 year-old contemporaries!
Absolutely life changing! I was recommended by my best friend who had health issues his entire adult life and received very minimal to no help from standard medicine. After being on Paul's program for a few short weeks his issues were all but solved and also had his overall health greatly increased so much so that he paid for me to go see Paul, after which my health issues were resolved completely. I had chronic sinus infections for years, recommended multiple medications and even surgery none of which helped in the slightest. Cannot say enough about how life changing my experience was. Thank you AcuNatural team!!
I came to this business in a hopeful effort to cure what ailed me. I don't believe much in M.D. medicine (though I do get my vaccines) and had a little extra cash from taxes to spend on this. It is expensive; $55 each visit and the eval is $179. The supplements will run another few hundred. You are given a discount if you pre-purchase a package and if you say you heard Paul on the radio show. I'm not reviewing to sway you "for" or "away". I say, if something works for you then maybe you should keep doing it. This cured my ailments and more. It is difficult to believe in the alternative practice yet the guidance, diet alteration and supplements really worked. I just wanted to be able to eat broccoli, garlic and onions again without bloating so bad I had the shakes and shortness of breath. Not only can I eat whatever I want again, the experience also took away my allergies (something I thought I was stuck with forever)! I never really "got on board" with the whole program yet stuck it out for the full package. I still buy the supplements there yet some are now available online (same prices). The office hours were always a challenge for scheduling appts. And I took issue with the receptionist un-apologetically answering a phone call right in the middle of our interaction/scheduling. I do not personally recommend anyone to this business yet I share my story and let them make up their own minds. I value the availability of alternative medicine options and may still be in a bad place without this place. I may have been able to get to where I am myself yet it just would have taken me a lot longer.
If you are interested in a health coach to encourage you to eat right, this is the place to go. His food recommendations are the basis of his healing efforts.
I have been challenged with not only health issues but financial issues when I finally saved enough coin to go back to this place ( where I had to shell out a ton of money each visit for supplements, that changed each visit ) I was told that I was not able to come back. Please know... I had never missed an appointment, nor left them unpaid ever. I maxed out a few credit cards seeking treatment Today I drove 50 minutes to the appt. and was told I was emailed 5 days earlier, that they canceled the appt. PLEASE KNOW THERE WAS NO SUCH EMAIL. The front desk lied. There was NO email from the front desk. After saying this the front desk then ignored me. I stood there in shock , not sure what to do as I had taken time off from work and the gas driving up, expecting help. I caught a long term employee, who wandered around a bit and then came over to to explain I was not going to be seen due to not keeping with my program. I explained that i had not been able to come back due to lack of funds, but had saved money for this visit and needed to be seen for critical health concerns. The employee said Paul was busy, but there were clearly NO other appointments going on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Paul is abrupt with patients and dismissive. The new staff seemed to care less. He may know his stuff, but for peace and healing go else where, Patient abandonment is a form of medical malpractice that occurs when a physician terminates the doctor-patient relationship without reasonable notice or a reasonable excuse, and fails to provide the patient with an opportunity to find a qualified replacement care provider.
I have been going to Paul Rosen for almost 7 years now! He offers the tools and knowledge that I need for me and my family to work through any health issues naturally and live a better quality of life. He has helped my family correct digestion issues, low energy levels, sleeping problems, and has corrected growth restrictions in two of my pregnancies. His work has been a great blessing for my family.
Nutrition response testing has changed my life! When I first came in, I had multiple problems that doctors didnt have a clue how to separate out and fix. Paul Rosen was not only able to identify the issues but also to guide me along the way to health again. I am very grateful for the restoration of my health and the truth about the proper diet needed to sustain and heal me! His staff is also very wonderful and positive. Thank you Acunatural for giving me back my life!
What I love about Paul, always positive, upbeat and and ready with the healthy answers we need to feel better.
Highly professional and knowledgeable staff. Have helped a lot of people !
