Cascadia Health Care's Online Review Report Card

I have spent thousands of dollars and lost countless hours of work in an attempt to alleviate chronic low back pain through conventional means since 2009, including steroid injections, facet joint blocks, physical therapy, a laminotomy-foraminotomy, a neurostimulator implant, and a subsequent neurostim explant, none of which had any consequential effect on my pain. I was on MD-mandated reduced work hours again in 2020 and was in the process of waiting four months for an initial consult with yet another MD at a group of specialists in our area who tout their treatment of pro athletes but have no sense of urgency for commoners. This was after being referred there by my PCP; it was not a self-referral. I could not walk two blocks without wanting to sit down on the curb and call for a ride home. I used to walk 5 miles a day at a good pace. I am not 80! Not even close. I decided to call Dr. Shultz, after trying other chiropractors now and then over the years with limited results. Dr. Shultz took a very extended period of time on my first visit, doing a very thorough background/assessment, and then she started to work on me. I did not have to have x-rays done as part of my intake. I did not get a treatment plan dictating how many months or years I would "need" to be seen. I was adjusted at my initial visit, and Dr. Shultz recommended the frequency of my appointments for the following two weeks. In two weeks she worked miracles, and I was able to cut down on the number of times I was coming in as she continued working on me. She did what no medical doctor was able to do. I still have back pain, but I am not squirming in my chair in pain 15 minutes after starting work, miserable by the end of the day, and needing to call in sick and stay in bed for 3 days by Friday. I am aware of my back's grouch level, and I go in to see Dr. Shultz whenever things are acting up. Maintenance visits are so important! Once again, these are not dictated by Dr. Shultz. It is my body, and she trusts me to know when I need to see her. Dr. Shultz has plenty of tricks up her sleeve. She has done prolotherapy on my upper and lower back with great, extended relief. She is also a fabulous licensed acupuncturist. In 2020 I was not sure I would be able to continue working. Dr. Shultz has literally saved my career. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Karen is amazing! She doesn’t use a lot of force but boy does she get the spots that need to be worked and when you leave you can tell. She listens to your body and works with it. So kind and makes you feel comfortable. Her knowledge of the body is fantastic and what can help just say to day. Thanks Karen!!!

I absolutely love Cascadia Health Care. I see Karen for my massages before and after my chiropractor appointments. I have been seeing a chiropractor for a year that would give me some relief but would then anger my muscles. It wasn't u til I started seeing Karen for massage in conjunction with the chiropractic care I was receiving, did I finally get full relief! I have no pain after my appointments, my muscle feel loose and my body is more fluid for movement! I now have my husband attending for massage and chiropractic work!

I've been seeing Dr. Susan Shultz for almost two years now and have had all lower back pain healed. She is not about making money but about giving the correct care more holistically than other chiropractors that I've seen.

I blew out discs in my lower back 11 years ago. Have gone to chiropractors, acupuncturists, water therapy etc for years. Julie has been better for this old body than all of the others combined! It isn't just a "job" for her. She LOVES IT!! She is a truly genuine and down to earth person that you will truly enjoy.

I had an appointment with Dr. Schultz for both Chiropractic and Acupuncture post MVA. I found Dr. Schultz to be thorough in her assessment, professional and caring in her treatment and all in all a wonderful provider. I left that office and for the first time in over 4 weeks I was headache free. I continue to treat with this group and look forward to my services. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff are all wonderful. I'd recommend this Cascadia Health Care Center to anyone looking for a wonderful partner in vibrant health.
