Eric Schmidt's Online Review Report Card

Dr Schmidt is quirky and an absolutely awesome surgeon. Staff was always friendly and attentive. Instead of doing extremely invasive surgery Dr Schmidt did what was best for me to keep my range of motion as I am an aircraft mechanic and work overhead constantly. Does his own X-ray and draws you a picture of what is going on. My recovery was seamless and follow up appointments a breeze

Dr Schmidt is the absolute best doctor that I personally have ever had a pleasure to meet. He took his own X-rays which I thought was cool, he offered his advice right there and treated my shoulder all within 30 minutes. Most doctors have very little personality but this guy had all that and much more, Thanks so much my friend and ---- ROCK ON

I had been given an appt on the phone by the desk clerk, for 7:30 am. She explained the location was in the rear of the surgery building. My husband took off work to drive me there as I was in so much pain. Upon signing in, after several minutes of the staff looking through their books & not finding my name, they stated" I didn't have an appointment." I stated, I did have an appointment, they squeezed me in for a 7:30 appt because I had been in excruciating shoulder pain for 3 weeks. How else would I know that you see some pts at 7:30am? Or have the address? They normally open at 8am but were squeezing me in. No one would admit they made an error. The staff became very angry, unprofessional, & my husband heard 1 staff say "call the police" after I asked to speak w/ the Dr. I am an RN, & was treated like a criminal. My husband heard me make the appt on the phone, as I use a speaker phone. I found out I had a very painful tear in my shoulder, had to wait several weeks to see another Dr.

I slipped in the bathroom and injured my left shoulder. My PCP ordered x-rays and an MRI on my shoulder. The radiologist at St. Josephs said I had a torn rotator cuff. I got a referral to see Dr. Eric Schmidt. He looked at my images. Then he took some of his own. He said I did not have a torn rotator cuff. He said it was a shoulder impingement and the radiologist was wrong. Turns out Dr. Schmidt was right. He was patient in explaining things including drawing a picture of what was going on with my shoulder. He gave me 3 options and recommended the 2nd one. I took his advice. He injected an anti-inflammatory into my shoulder and prescribed some additional anti-inflammatory pills along with physical therapy. My shoulder today is like new. No unnecessary rotator cuff surgery or other invasive surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt.

Dr. Schmidt is one of the most down to earth genuine MD that I have had the plesure of obtaining medical treatment from. He is funny and caring and takes time to explain treatments and proceedures without the fluff and medical jargan so you can understand. His assistant Gina is just as wonderful and his office staff are respectful, kind and organized. Thank you Dr. Schmidt

Dr. Schmidt is a magic man. I was in a wreck 2 years ago and the paid just would not stop until I found this man. I don't know how many doctors I went to before him, but nobody compared to him. He made my shoulder pain go away. He looked at the MRI and found the torn rotator cuff tear. He gave me a shot and the pain went away immediately. What relief. He said my tendons and ligaments were ripped and separated. He put me at ease explaining what was going on. I highly recommend this doctor. He is the best.
