North Portland Wellness Center's Online Review Report Card

I had my first experience with acupuncture the other day and was really pleased with the experience. I worked with Tanya Zhu and she was fantastic. She really took the time to try and understand the issues I'm dealing with and gave me the best care I could have hoped for. I look forward to more sessions and making more progress.

North Portland Wellness Center is an exceptional health centered establishment. It's standards of care are outstanding and the practitioners are highly qualified.

I had an incredible massage with Elley. We went to school together and now get to work together at NPWC. The massage was intentional, perfectly slow, and effective. I left feeling in my body and deeply grounded. Thanks Elley :-)

She was very thoughtful, hands on, has a great personality and meshed well with my own. I’m sure she could mesh well with anyone. She knew when and where to set limits, how to feel things out and make you comfortable enough to tell her when and where to step back or take it back a notch. Tbf I never had to stop her, or reel her in. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and today’s pain was feeling good and necessary. It was right on the best spot of good and necessary, didn’t need to tell her to back off at all, in a good way. I e experienced the opposite with others. She was clearly very in tune with my body and where it was at. She is methodical, well thought out and clearly knows what she is doing. She’s not trying to find a way to milk any insurance claims and seems genuinely excited to work on the puzzle that is my current predicament knowing my insurance situation isn’t long term nor accident related. She’s amazing! I 1000% recommend her as a chiropractor, (although I hesitate to do so because I don’t want her to get too busy)! ;P I have a mistrust with chiropractors because of my history with them but she is freaking SOLID!

I found Dr. Chen during covid and it's been wonderful and enlightening. I highly recommend her.

Mary is intuitive and thoughtful and has been SO helpful as I navigate difficult health situations. I really appreciate her!

There is no one better at acupuncture than Mary C! I've gone to her off and on for years, despite me moving across town. Achilles pain, knee pain, back pain- she has fixed it all for me. I've gone to a few other acupuncturists closer to my house but nothing compares. Thank you, Mary!

I was referred to Sabrina for chiropractic care. I had chronic hip pain for 4 years and she took time to ask questions to help find the problem that Western medicine doctors were only guessing about. In just 1 visit I felt immediate pain relief and have progressively gotten better over our appointments. I highly recommend her. She listens and is easy to talk to, she's relatable and just a lovely human. I decided to take advantage of acupuncture while I was at the Wellness Center and set an appointment up with Mary. Was not disappointed. We spoke about some issues and then she got to work. I walked out of there feeling like a brand new me!

Annabelle gave our three year old daughter a great session. Our daughter was giggling the whole time and even though she didnt want needles, she was able to receive more treatment than I expected at this age. I'm relieved to know there is somewhere I can bring her for treatment if she has lingering sickness or allergies.
