Sea Mar Vancouver Dental Clinic - East Vancouver's Online Review Report Card

Really nice staff but they are useless. Got there early as per their request. Was taken to my chair on time, the assistant was very pleasant and efficient. Waited for a half an hour for the dentist to see me, OK, I understand they get held up with other patients. She was very nice, but basically told me everything I already know. Would not file down a rough tooth that is tearing up my tongue, did not give me anything for pain (no, I wasn't looking to get codeine!), told me to buy a Water Pik and night guard. Both are not in my budget at this time. I called today to get something for the pain and was told "the dentist recommended a Water Pick & night guard." I said yeah, that doesn't do anything for the pain... These "drive thru" Medicaid dentists are a joke.

This place caters to Spanish people only. The dentists would rather pull a tooth then fix it. I would not recommend anybody to go here if they want to keep their teeth.

Sea-mar is trying but still very far from providing good costumer service and quality patient car!

All my experiences with Seamar so far at all of their locations have been very consistent with their front office as well as their back office care. In my experience, SeaMar is the absolute worst medical establishment I have been to in my life. Unfortunately I have a lifetime of medical issues and have been to many differen facilities over the years and I have been shocked on multiple occasions of the nasty attitudes I have seen here. They are collectively unprofessional and unpleasant. If I would not be surprised if their training consisted of them being instructed to be as rude, short and provide as little help as possible. Also, no smiling would ever be allowed.

DONT GO HERE!!!!!!! I went in for a filling. No big deal right? WRONG!!!! The dentist that I saw was made very aware of my ptsd when it comes to dentists along with my tolerance to the Novocain. I made it very clear that I needed to be put on nitrous or I would be having an anxiety attack the whole time. Not only did this guy put me on nitrous lower than recommended so it was the equivalent of it being turned off. He didn't fully numb me. I laid there screaming for him to stop the whole time. He refused to listen and kept drilling. No one in the entire office did anything. Even when my boyfriend told him to stop he kept going. When he finally stopped I had a filling in but the tooth was so sharp on the side that it turned the inside of my mouth to hamburger. I ran out of there crying. While everyone just stared at me. THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS ASSAULT! Not only that but it has been 6 months since I was there. The tooth that was "fixed" has been hurting ever since. It wasn't bothering me at all before I went in there. Also they make you do a separate consult for any work you need done. No matter how big or little the problem your having. I wish I could give them negative stars. As is they should be shut down. No one should have a dentist continue to do work on them when they say stop let alone the person is screaming for them to stop.

The dentist here is amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable. They work fast and are extremely attentive in making sure that i am comfortable during my procedure. I completely trust them and would recommend them to anyone that needs dental work.

I take off work and drive a half hour from home to go here. My last appointment, yesterday, I had a cavity filled. They only did the inside and did not fill the outside cavity. My tooth was already numb and I was already sitting in a chair. They couldn't even fix a whole tooth. The people they have working there are incompetent and have absolutely no idea what they are doing. I strongly advise going somewhere else.

Our first time at this location and all I can say is that I enjoy bringing my family here. They are punctual, friendly, and very attentive. My daughter is 8 months and the pediatrician really answered all the questions I had, and made sure my baby girl was comfortable and happy before hand. Really, really like this location!!!
