I wish 0 stars were an option. This woman working with Fresenius Kidney Care mistreated my mother until we lost her in September. For a "kidney specialist" she doesnt seem to know much about her field. I know many kidney failure patients are diabetics (my mom isnt her only patient with diabetes and kidney failure) and she never told us that peritoneal dialysis has SUGAR in the fluid!? Why would that not be the first thing you mention!?? Secondly, at my moms last hospital visit (she didnt make it home from...) her ammonia levels were checked for the first time! This can often be caused by kidney disease. We mentioned this to a friend, also going through kidney failure, after we lost her. We thought he should know so someone could keep an eye on his but he told us the Davita Clinic in Oregon checked his regularly for this exact reason, kidney failure patients often get other issues caused by high ammonia levels. His health was often worse but, his doctors did an amazing job and he's still here... as she should be. Hers were never checked by her kidney specialist, Pidikiti while visiting Fresenius. It wasnt until the last visit that someone in the ER suggested testing her ammonia levels due to her symptoms. Syptoms she'd had for months but went undiagnosed by any of her "specialists" and were instead blamed on her sugar levels caused by her peritoneal dialysis. Symptoms such as severe tremors so bad she couldn't operate her insulin pump and incognizance so bad she couldnt tell the doctors who the president was or what year it was. These are obvious side effects of high ammonia levels that went unchecked or ignored. Dr. Pidikiti you are a rude and unprofessional doctor that's horrible at your job and I hope you do better so your other patients dont suffer the same fate bacause of your faults.
Change review> I mistakenly blamed the Dr. for how her staff treated me. I did not find out until I personally contacted the Dr. to complain to her about my treatment. She advised she was shocked and had no idea that it was her staff that cancelled my appointment .
Dr. Vancouver Clinic staff were rude. After waiting in an office that had no receptionist and after knocking and calling out no-one came out for approximately 7 minutes. finally a woman came out and said I had to go to the next door office to check in. Then I had to wait, only to be told my appointment had been cancelled. I could not get any explanation even when I told them it was a 3 hour drive & I needed to see her. They only said my appointment was cancelled and they would not see me. I will never go back to this Dr.

My primary MD referred me to a nephrologist. I have worked w/ Dr. Pidikiti as a critical care RN, and always found her intelligent, compassionate, and approachable in the care of her patients, and so chose her to help me. She has taken the time to hear my concerns, and has run tests that no one else in >35 years of treating this problem ever thought to check. In the past year, Dr. P has changed my treatment, vastly improving my health and quality of life. My exercise tolerance and mood are so improved that I feel as though my clock has been turned back 15 years. As an ICU nurse with decades of experience, I trusted her with my health and life, and she has measurably made both better. Thanks, Dr. P!
I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Pidikiti as a colleague, and now as my physician. I am a night ICU nurse, and have always found Dr. Pidikiti to be gracious and thoughtful in responding to questions or patient concerns, even when paged in the middle of the night. She often proactively calls just to check on her patients when they are in ICU. She consistently demonstrates her regard and concern for her patients. When my high blood pressure became difficult to control my regular provider recommended I see a nephrologist. I chose Dr. Pidikiti based on her professional training and standing, and my personal respect for the care I have witnessed her give her sickest patients. Through listening to my history, and hearing my personal goals, we made a plan together that involved some lab testing and a radiographic study to try to get my BP better controlled. She uncovered some abnormalities in my labs that no one else looked for in 4 decades of being tested and treated for high blood pressure. She was able to prescribe a medication that has dramatically improved my BP, and equally importantly, my quality of life. Because Dr. Pidikiti listened to my concerns and goals, she made changes that allow me to excercise and have energy again. Thank you! I have found the Vancouver Clinic on-line patient portal to be an invaluable way to ask questions and get follow-up - Dr. Pidikiti is prompt to respond to questions. Staff are kind and knowledgeable (even letting me know when discount coupons for my meds were available on the internet), and the office is clean and pleasant. This physician has dramatically improved my health, and my enjoyment and quality of life.
Dr. Padikiti is a pleasant person. She is lacking in follow-up. Very passive in dealing with medical problems. Would in the future select another physician.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
