List of The Vancouver Clinic's Reviews
I’m extremely disappointed in the medical discrimination someone close to me faced today at your clinic. This discrimination was done at the hands of the cardiologist supervisor at the 87th clinic . I’m all about keeping people safe, but that includes those with medical mask exemptions as well. Per the Vancouver Clinic’s own policy, face shields can be worn for those medically unable to wear face masks. This person has successfully visited the clinic on multiple occasions prior to their heart surgery. They went above and beyond clarifying the use of the face shield would be accepted prior to surgery. Now that the heart surgery is completed it is extremely important this person have the follow up appointment and be cleared for cardio rehabilitation. Today they were told by this supervisor it was mandatory to wear a face mask to have service. This individual ignored the Vancouver Clinic’s own policy and forced the person close to miss the appointment. This needs to be remedied immediately.
Great doctors and supporting staff. Plenty of parking. In a shopping center, next to Bed Bath and Beyond.
I have been a patient here for a year now and I never had a bad experience until recently. I went into the Vancouver Clinic to talk about my bad period cramp and they charged me $200 for a VIDEO VISIT (note, insurance covered a partial amount.) That is one of the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. When calling customer support several times, they are quick to answer my questions, though they always quick push me to call my insurance. It's always a goose chase with this clinic and I have always felt like I have to go through several hoops just to get a straight answer. The mental stress just dealing with my current claim is so painful and I never want to come back again. Would not recommend.
My doctor and nurses have been great but their billing department has zero customer service skills and trying to even get someone to respond to billing questions is a nightmare.
Below is my messages to a provider at TVC. The first one was sent on the 16th and read not too long after sending. I figured I would receive a reply either later that day or sometime this morning on the 17th. But I didn’t so I sent a second message with more detail hoping this would speed up the process. Once again my message was viewed but put off. Not to mention I have also called. I have worked in healthcare using the same programs TVC does so I know how it works. There is no reason something of this nature should be pushed to the back burner. Why is it so hard to get mental help? Why aren’t we talking about how resources aren’t easily available to those in need? Why do I need a referral to help better my mental health? Depression and anxiety are real things, SUICIDE is a REAL thing. Unfortunately, I know this first hand. Our healthcare system need to step up!!
Dr. Roles is an excellent primary care physician. She is caring and looks into your treatment to find the best possible options. Staff is caring as well
I do like the Vancouver Clinic but wanted to warn patients about this doctor!! I am/was seeing a sport medicine doctor, Dr. Nina Upham at TVC in Salmon Creek, due to a hand work injury. I have seen her twice now and will never see this doctor ever again! She has the worst bedside manner and is SO rude, condescending, lacks compassion, acts like she is annoyed you are there, has absolutely no personality, and seems miserable. If you are that unhappy with what you do then find another job NOT with patients!!!! I was going to therapy for my hand, but the therapy made my hand feel more painful. The therapist and I discussed how we would hold off on therapy until I see Upham again and see what she says about it. Well, at my appointment I told Upham what was going on and why I stopped therapy, and she challenged me on why I stopped. I explained what the therapist and I talked about and the doctor pretty much called me a liar! She pulled up the note from the therapist and pointed to a section that said I am to go to therapy 1 time per week for 8 weeks. These were the therapist orders but not what we had discussed, which I told the doctor. She then asked if I even read the chart notes after my appointment and how I need to do that. I also explained again how painful therapy was and she flat out told me it didnt matter and I still needed to go! She couldnt even explain to me why therapy made my hand hurt worse! She basically said I dont care u still need to go to therapy. She was SO rude about the whole thing!! She challenged me and pretty much called me a liar!!! I have never had an experience nor been treated like this by a doctor ever!!!! I was SO upset and disgusted after I left. I sent her an email the next day letting her know how I felt about the appointment and how she treated me, and of course she didnt respond!!! I also heard from another person that Im not the only one who has said this about this doctor!! How do these doctors get away with this??? How is it ok for doctors to be rude and disrespectful to their patients and nothing happen??? Im a nurse, and let me tell you, if I was that way to my patient I would be reprimanded and warned!! If I was that way to a patient again, I would probably lose my job!! Again, how does she get away with this!!! Patients need to not go to her and/or let her know how she treated them during their appointment and maybe she will change. Something needs to be done!!! SO disappointed!!!! If I were to rate this doctor she would get zero stars!! I do have other doctors at TVC and I really like them. It was only this bad experience that I wanted everyone to know about so they can stay away from this doctor.
Please educate your on call Hospitalists not to advise patients in the hospital that they take all insurance when they don’t. And educate the phone staff on how to handle their calls. If you don’t take a certain insurance JUST SAY THAT..
Nice staff, love the doctors

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
