List of Erik C. Gryler Md's Reviews
I felt like I was Dr. Gryler’s only patient. He was excellent before, during and after my surgery. I would recommend his services to anyone and would feel confident that his knowledge and actions would result in a more than satisfactory outcome for his patients. He was kind and caring, as well as capable.
I felt like Dr. Gryler’s only patient. He answered all my questions and explained my surgery thoroughly. I didn’t want a general anesthesia, and he transmitted that information to the anesthesiologist with no hesitation. He was gracious, kind and understanding. I’m 84, but recovering nicely from my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Gryler.
Very friendly, provided professional care and had my knee feeling better in no time!
Awesome doctor who listens to his patients.
My wife broke her leg at home and was taken to ER by ambulance. Dr Gryler saw her in the hospital and said since it was a clean break, that he would just cast it and let it heal on its own. It continued to cause her severe pain and was terribly curved. We mentioned her pain during every office followup visit, but he did nothing to ease it. Finally 4 months later he agreed to rebreak her leg and install plates and screws. He stopped all of her meds during this surgery and unbelievably neglected to restart them following surgery. She has been on prescribed oxycodone and fentanyl and many other addictive medicines for over 10 years because of severe back pains following 14 previous surgeries and is highly addicted to these meds. Without receiving her meds she went into a catatonic state (his words) and was uncommunicative and on the edge of dying. Dr. Gryler told me he didn't know enough about how to fix her problems, and finally turned her over to a hospitalist after 6 days. I contacted a lawyer because none of these doctors were willing to start giving her her medicines properly again. The lawyer got her meds restarted and after 1 month in the hospital she finally revived and was allowed to come home. I would not recommend this doctor, or this hospital, to anyone.
I have had 5 surgeries from Dr. Gryler and all went phenomenal. He saved me from having a plate in my arm and used rods instead. Put my hand back together with pins. Put a screw in my foot and removed all the hardware when done with no problems. He also fixed my broken arms 3 other times without surgery! I would recommend him to anyone!!! He’s very nice and is great at what he does! If you need an orthopedic surgeon he is definitely the man to go to! Without him I would be all messed up and now I feel like I never had an injury in those locations! If I could give him 6 out of 5 I would!
Excellent care.
This was my first day is it and I’m quite satisfied so far.
Worked with Dr Grylor on a knee issue. Wonderful person. Not quick to rush to surgery. However, when I did make that choice I couldn't have been happier. Thorough, congenial patient and never makes you feel hurried when you have an appointment. I couldn't have been more pleased.
wonderful experiencwe;

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
