Background: I've been medically boring for my entire life, until I started experiencing a rectal problem. I went in to my then ARNP (from another medical group in town) who began prescribing medication after medication over the next 12 months - all the while, the problem worsened. She even ordered a biopsy of the area - to rule out cancer. It was a horrible and painful ordeal, quite honestly. I finally heeded the advice of a friend and switched doctors AND clinics! My first visit with Dr. Julie was great. She took the time to listen to me...and she then prescribed a medication (oh no, not another one I groaned) - and said if I don't see results in the next few days I need to come back in and see her. I got results literally in the first 24 hours!
