Met Doc Today. He was wonderful. I felt like I had known him forever. He was very informative and we made a plan. I left feeling hopeful and when you feel hopeful you feel well.❤
dont bother. i have been at this practice for over 15 years. i go once a year to get my prescriptions filled. mary at the front desk is horrible. horrible. can't schedule, reads test results over the phone in front of waiting patients, can't get presciptions filled! i went in in early september and i still!! haven't got my pills reffilled. it is now mid-december. honestly. i have heard so many excuses i am exhasted. it took 2 months just to get my lab results mailed to me. we live 1/2 mile away. the incompetence is frustrated beyone belief. im exhasted and i am done. not worth the aggrevation. finding someone else to go to. ridiculous. jeanne williams
Leaves town to establish practice in a new location -- without sending a letter to patients. I can't get medication refilled before a four-day holiday weekend because the pharmacy can't get a callback. Unprofessional and unconscionable.
Peter Linfoot is a nice guy and was a decent doctor before he retired. His office however was and still is a horrible group of secretaries and assistants who aren't capable of doing their job. They have lost my medical records on numerous occasions, and have repeatedly delayed getting insurance approval for medication they recommend taking by not sending my insurance company the proper medical information. Total rag tag group of people who are difficult to get on the phone and then ineffective at resolving things when you do talk to them. Linfoot's practice is now being taken over by another doctor and the staff is continuing their horrible service. My recommendation is to find another doctor's office!
We have been patients of this practice for several years and the only reason we stayed is because Meaghan is the sweetest, most patient, non-judgmental practitioner and that's important when you have a T1 teen. But we are moving practices and here's why:- No testing in office - we have to go to an off-site lab to get blood work done and then go back to Dr. Linfoot's to address what's happening in the labs. That's three appointments and weeks of waiting for what happens in one appointment and about five minutes at other practices.- No consultation over the phone. If you have a question about changing your insulin regimen, you have to go in. Other doctor's we've had look at your blood work every week and tell you how to adjust your insulin, especially when you're dealing with a child/teen and hormones are affecting their levels.- Terrible office staff - not friendly. not helpful. get prescriptions wrong on multiple occasions. Diabetes is life or death and to get the wrong medicine called in all the time is very bad. And they call in the prescription wrong so that insurance doesn't pay and it gets held up. ALL THE TIME. I can pretty much guarantee that when I call the pharmacy to see what's the problem, they say they contacted the doctor three times to get the prescription written correctly and no response. So then I have to call Dr. Linfoot's office SEVERAL TIMES back and forth... it has taken over a month to get a prescription filled in the past. This is normal, not a one-time thing.- And this is what finally has us changing practices... They never answer their phone and they don't call you back until you get really nasty. I hate having to do that. But after leaving three messages over the course of a week, I don't know what else to do. Just to get medical records faxed has taken two weeks, six phone calls and it still hasn't been done. To get labs ordered has taken three weeks, five phone calls and it still hasn't been done. This is normal. The ordeal isn't over. If I did this, I'd be fired. So, we're firing Dr. Linfoot.I'm not someone who rants on yelp without having given the business a chance to address the issue. I've complained about how we're treated and the lack of customer service, the problems with wrong prescriptions, etc. And after five years and no change, we're out.
I've seen Dr. Linfoot, Julia & Meaghan and like them all. I've been seeing Meaghan ongoing now for a couple of years & love her. I've never had the office staff be rude to me. I did have an issue once because they automatically enrolled me in their health portal which has an annual fee.
I have been seeing Dr. Peter Linfoot for a few years. I am astounded by the negative reviews. He is one of the kindest, most thorough, most patient in explanations of any doctor of any speciality I have even seen. His office has been excellent regarding calling back and arranging appointments. I changed my insurance a couple of years ago to one he did not take. On changing insurance again I quickly returned to Dr. Linfoot for continued oversight of hypothyroid and adrenal issues. I highly recommend him.
Horrible customer service. I continue to get a bill for $30 because of a claimed no show fee on their part. I called months in advance to cancel my appointment yet I continue to get a bill almost every month for the past year. I received a new letter today threatening to send me to collections and ban me from the practice if I do not pay the $30 dollar no show fee. This is absolutely crazy as I've called and left messages every time I get a bill but conveniently nobody ever picks up the phone and I'm forced to leave a message reminding them I called months in advance to cancel the appointment I keep getting a bill for. Of course nobody ever calls me back to talk about the matter. They've probably wasted $30 dollars in paper and postage/envelopes which is pretty dumb on their part when they could easily just give me a call back to talk about the issue.
Horrible, unreliable, unconcerned, customer service!!!!!!!! The office staff had the audacity to send me a letter stating i will no longer be able to be treated due to a payment has not been received. My primary doctor has been trying to obtain my medicals records from this office since November 2016, we are now approaching April 2017. The office staff has been unresponsive to several request and multiple calls to the office. If someone answer the phone or return voicemail messages they may could have collected a payment over the phone. This office can kiss my ass !!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't say it was the best customer service from the office, they often didn't follow up and I had to call or email to enquire about test results, also the waiting time was sometimes longer. Doctor Linfoot is nice and professional though. Recently, they introduced a new PAID tool to manage email communication which is what did it for me. I am unable to contact them through the only way that is convenient unless I pay a fee - thank you very much, but there are plenty of other practices that have secure email or online tools, completely free for users and I don't have to chase my test results for days.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
