Helpful friendly staff who made the experience comfortable for me.
Always fast and very caring
MultiCare Gig Harbor is an amazing organization, with wonderful staff. Personally, I believe it deserves a much higher rating than it currently has. The facilities are well kept and clean, the staff are uber friendly, and they continue to be one of the more efficient medical centers around. My recent experience with Shannon Rice, ARNP was extraordinary - caring, professional and extremely knowledgeable. A huge thumps up to her and the rest of the nursing staff. You all are great and I am so glad that I have you as my Primary Care professional.
Took my Daughter here for a procedure. Which was preformed by Dr. Nathan Frost. The facility was vary clean and they are going above and beyond on following the COVID-19 protocols. The Doctors, Nurses and Staff were all great and My daughter felt vary comfortable, safe and liked the entire staff.
Has a great cardiac rehabilitation center, including nutrition classes helping us to change, so we mite live a longer healthier life.
This place is fantastic! The only bad thing is the parking lot access was designed by someone who won a blue ribbon at the state fair. This place is great and easy to navigate with the information Booth right in the middle. The staff was professional and made every effort to make me comfortable and everything was just great! Other hospitals should use this place as a model on how to be. Five stars and three smiles 😁😁😁
I have nothing but great experiences here. I have my general dr at this facility and have appointments regularly. I also have seen an ortho here. I come to the lab often for testing and have great experiences with that as well. I have used their urgent care and pediatric express also great staff and drs. There are often long wait times. But that is expected with any medical establishment Ive been to. Highly recommend!
MultiCare Gig Harbor has been my health care choice for years. They are the bomb. The guy at the reception desk is hilarious and wonderful, the staff has dealt with my crazy anxiety that comes raging about once or twice a year gracefully ( I get full blown crazy and they assure me Im not...awww..but ya, I am), Dr. Trott listens, hes real, and when I feel like every bone in my body is on fire or breaking they are compassionate. HOWEVER, THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE ONE AND ONLY PERSON IVE EVER HEARD ON THAT STAFF THAT SOUNDED LIKE A COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL ASS TODAY. MultiCare gets 5 stars but the lady screaming and insulting their two amazing pharmacists needs 1) to learn how to communicate professionally with her coworkers 2) Put a volume knob on her loud outbursts and 3) Stop insulting and talking down to the pharmacists about loading paper in the copier within ear shot of your patients. Those of us waiting that heard her belittling them ( for the serious crime of running out of printer paper ) were astounded and embarrassed for them. Luckily for HER they went ghost and went on working. If I worked near her and she spoke to me like that, shed get a pill bottle stuffed into that rude piehole. MultiCare gets 5 stars, but whoever the printer nazi is gets zero. I wish I could identify her but she was screaming from behind view. Jerk.
Im normally a sound medicine patient, but I was having some intense neck pains and after some suggestions by friends, needed to see a DO quicker than what sound could provide. I called multicare and one of their DOs could see me the following day in Gig Harbor. I made the appt and drove over the bridge the following morning. The lady at the front desk was nice, it was early, so I was the only one there. After filling out all the forms, I handed it back and within a few minutes, I was taken back to a room where some vitals were taken and then I waited for the doc. He came in a few minutes later, asked me all the same questions again and then asked about my pain. At this point, the pain had subsided a little bit, so I couldnt offer him much other than what had happened and where the pain was coming from on the day it happened. He pushed on the back of my neck/atlas a few times, asked a couple of questions. He then told me to take a few weeks off and if there was continued pain, we could talk about physical therapy. I bought the line and left. Two weeks later, the pain is constant and I now have a $170 bill for him touching my neck for 45 seconds. I would assume this isnt a problem with multicare or that doctor in particular and more of a problem with american healthcare, but it still bothers me that there is an obvious issue with my neck and there were nothing ever brought up about an MRI or XRay. Which, then turns into, I have health insurance and Im still paying $170 for my visit. What a joke. Ill keep my distance from multicare and will stay with sound medicine in the future.
The DO was nice but the receptionists and 1 of the assistants (like someone mentioned before) are kinda rude... i mean if they dont like you or something... at least PRETEND... people go to the Dr afraid and expecting to be treated nice and not like you have to beg them for them not to be bxxchy and be sorry if you are not comfortable and if you are gonna talk bad about ppl at least wait until they leave.....

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
