Dr Gross was thorough and caring and was always open to any input or concerns. I wish there were more Drs. like him.
Dr. Gross is not only thorough, but he is friendly and kind. He took the time to really listen and solve my problem. He is exceptional.
This doctor colors inside the lines and is OUTRAGOUSLY simple in his practice. So, if you have something KINDERGARTEN simple going on with your endocrine system, than see him. But, if you have anything that requires thought, RUN in the opposite direction as Kenneth does not offer any such support in his practice! I am disgusted by his apathetic professional character!!
I read some of the reviews. The first time I saw Dr. Gross he was not too talkative but very involved in the treatment of my Thyroid cancer. Some may say he seemed cold. He is not. He has followed up on my cancer for over 5 years. We still currently work together to try to get my TSH levels working good for me. I travel 3 hours to see him. He takes his time, wants to know how I am feeling so he can get a sense of what is going on. I would highly recommend him. Dont be put off by youre first apt. He is studying what is going on with you. He is very thorough at every check up. Even the first one.
Dr Gross is a pleasant enough person. I am sure if you have an interesting medical problem he would show some effort. But if you have something mundane like the need for hormone replacement then he shows little if any interest in the patient. Having acne at 60 seems to be OK with Dr Gross. The suggested alternative from Dr Gross would be just stop testosterone with the side effect of insominia, lethargy and apathy. Nothing in between. After a year of no improvement and nothing from Dr Gross as a solid medical alternative i have given up on any production solution from him and taken a new Dr.
I was able to get into to see Dr. Gross earlier than expected because they had me on a cancellation list. That was good.Once the radiation was done for my hyperthyroidism he was done with me. He had no interest in helping me get back to any semblance of the normal I had enjoyed before. It was like taking your car to a mechanic; got the part worked on, nothing more.
I went to see Dr Gross a few months ago. I waited over a month to get in, I researched an endocrinologist for weeks before asking around and feeling confident. I saw him, went over my past history, and heart issues Ive also been having which I figured were a part of my thyroid disease. He put me back on the same meds I was prescribed as a child, and sent me to the cardiac department at the PolyClinic. I had to make several calls for them to tell me results, and finally weeks later I was told I was ok, and there was nothing wrong with me but I needed to stay on meds for my thyroid. Hmmm... I didnt get better, in fact my heart got worse, I tried to explain that to his nurses. Finally I researched my own specialist in Cardiology, got a referral from a whole different doctor that I trusted and it was through my own instincts of going to them that they found a heart condition not only that but it was caused by the imbalance of my thyroid and the original diagnosis from Dr Gross was not accurate. My specialist said I was text book for thyrotoxicosis the opposite of what Dr Gross said. This doctor put me on heart pills to help me, but Im still awaiting following up from Dr Grosss office. In fact, my cardiologist sent a letter explaining everything he saw, and he got a response back saying, Should I follow up with her...? Hmmm... My thyroid is still off balance, I struggle with it everyday and am still waiting for this follow up. I was disappointed, and lack trust in the ability for Dr Gross to help me and truly diagnose and balance what I thought he was highly reccomended to do.
