Exactly what a PCP should be. He listens, cares and never makes you feel rushed. I wish I had found him sooner since my previous PCP was a nightmare.
I was seen at the ER in New London last Wednesday for pain in my chest and back. They ruled out a heart attack and sent me home with 6 pain pills. I went to Dr. Douglas on Monday because I was out. I took one a day. Way below the directions said, but it kept me out of the horrible pain. His advice was to advise me to rub an anti-inflammatory gel and to take a muscle relaxer I'm already taking from my former practitioner. They don't help, neither does an Rx he called in, for another muscle relaxer. Still in pain and it's hard for me to breathe..after 8 days of this! Now GehrigWilliamsons nurse hung up on me when I questioned her about why not. I know why and their information is wrong. Rather than discuss it with me, she hung up on me! Unprofessional not to mention RUDE. They won't provide adequate care, so I'm considering consulting an attorney. Obviously I won't ever back. To leave a patient in pain is not very ethical!
I have been a patient here for over 20 years. I have received great care over the years!
I recently had to switch providers as my life-long doctor was retiring. I am now very lucky to have Dr. Werner as my primary care physician. He is so incredibly genuine and kind, just like my prior provider. I am so happy with the service I receive from Primary Care Associates and the care I receive from my doctor.
Primary Care Associates is the only place that an actual person answers the phone. Scheduling is easy, check in is quick and easy, appointments have always been on time for me, lab is great, nurses have always been good, and Dr. Johnson is easily the best primary care doctor I've ever had. He listens, answers questions without making me feel like an idiot for asking them, is very thorough, and just seems to genuinely care about me and my concerns. I am very happy to have Primary Care Associates!
Our family doctor, our voice of reason works there.
I have been going here for about 20 years. The doctors are very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. I forgot to mention the nurses 😅. Keep up the great work. 👍
My daughter has a SEVERE phobia of needles. Because she is an adult most people tell her to "its no big deal"...it is a huge deal to her. Today she needed blood drawn. Robyn was the one to do this job! She was absolutely AMAZING, and because of that my daughter was in and out in less than 20 minutes. (Normally takes her 30 just to sit down) Robyn was kind and thoughtful and allowed my daughter to run the show and feel comfortable. Thank you from the bottom of a moms heart Robyn!
I received excellent care from Dr Servais, her staff and all the lab and radiology departments. I am thankful I did not have to leave the facility and could have all the diagnostic tests done in one place. Thank you.
Dr Werner is the best when it comes to genuine care for each patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
