I recently had rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. "A". He is very knowledgeable and will present other alternative options other than jumping into a surgery right away. Surgery however was my best option. I am grateful for his expertise and am recovering nicely. The entire staff was wonderful to work with.

I’m a 71 year old grandma who has been on prednisone for many years I’ve fractured my tibia, fibula, and ankle due to osteoporosis caused by prednisone and age. My recent break was a complicated spiral fracture of my humerus. My local arm and shoulder specialist in Manitowoc said the break was too complicated to handle. He referred me to a trauma surgeon in Milwaukee. This surgeon refused to fix my broken arm because she noted that there was a bone tumor beneath the break that she couldn’t fix. She referred me to a bone tumor specialist. This horrible guy scolded me for falling. ( I suffer from vertigo which causes me to lose balance ) I left his office in tears. Finally I was referred to Dr Awowale. He was able to scoop out the tumor and reinforce the bone with cadavor bone and a metal plate so my arm won’t ever break again! God blessed me for finding Dr A. He is an amazing and competent professional with a warm and compassionate personality. He fixed my arm perfectly! I highly recommend him! You will be glad that you chose him!

Dr. A is a great Dr. and has really good insight. He listens to what you're saying and takes the time to understand your issues. He is also good with service dogs! I'm relieved to have found my ortho doc in GB.

I have seen Dr. Awowale several times for shoulder pain (I had rotator cuff repair in the past.) He listens to you, answers your questions and is compassionate. I have been following his recommendations and have been able to avoid additional surgery.
