All my visit are a learning experience! Dr J. takes the time to first listen then explains thoroughly why she recommends her diagnosis. She answers any questions you may have thoroughly. The appointment is never rushed.
Dr. Juntenen is very thorough, knowledgeable, pleasant, timely, and I am able to discuss medical concerns and actually have a two way dialog. Together we decide on my medical care. She does make great suggestions and does get back to me promptly when I send a message via my health portal. I have been seeing Dr. Juntenen for five years and would not consider changing physicians.
Dr. Juntunen is very thorough. Whenever something comes up she will work to find exactly what the cause is. I trust her and am grateful to be cared for by a doctor who cares for their patients and gives them her very best effort!!
I had an appointment with Dr. Juntunen years ago at Primary Care Associates. I was unhappy with the level of care received, so after some contemplation, I contacted Dr. Juntunan's nurse expressing my concern. I respectfully asked to have a conversation with Dr. Juntenan about the issue. Instead, I received a letter from Primary Care Associates informing me that they would no longer welcome me as a patient. I had been a patient of this practice since childhood. I was very dismayed and felt abandoned as a patient.
Very good doctor. Was quick to link my cardiac symptoms to Lymes disease. Cardiologists were surprised she caught it at the first visit.
This 'doctor' types your patient comments at a frightening speed, then forgets everything you've said, forcing you to remind and repeat, each and every subsequent visit (less than handful for me!). Her staff turnover rate is stunning, and the office atmosphere is the worst I've ever felt. The techs and nurses fear her (they cautiously criticize her to the patient, making for a very uncomfortable experience). She seems to have a major ego problem versus female patients in particular. Stay away.
This 'doctor' types your patient comments at a frightening speed, then forgets everything you've said, forcing you to remind and repeat, each and every subsequent visit (record keeping incompetence). Her staff turnover rate is stunning, and the office atmosphere is the worst I've ever felt. The techs and nurses seem to fear (they cautiously criticize her to the patient, making for a very uncomfortable experience). She seems to have a major ego problem versus female patients in particular (does NOT tolerate patient input that does not necessarily 'agree' with her opinions - see them as "challenges" to her authority) with paranoid overtones (I am a psychologist). Recommend: NO.
Not recommended at ALL. Poorly educated. A simpleton on a good day. Stay away.
Dr. Juntunen spends as much time with the patient as the patient needs. She makes sure medications don't interact with each other, don't cause weight gain, and that the medication will be covered by the patient's insurance.
Dr. Juntunen is a wonderful doctor. She spends as much time with the patient as the patient needs. She will answer questions, make suggestions, give personal advice when asked for. She makes sure that medications don't interact, are covered by insurance, and don't cause weight gain.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
