List of MIchael Johnson's Reviews
Zero stars. He doesn't communicate with a patient's family about concerns if there are questions after care. His nurse turnover says a lot. He used to have great nurses who actually listened to your concerns, and they have since left. Now, he currently has a nurse who has the emotional intelligence of a 14 year old, who lack any professionalism, and who had threatened me with a termination of care for my elder father over the phone if we didn't go through a specific treatment plan she wanted Dr. Johnson to have for us before. We gave this clinic enough of the benefit of the doubt, but we now had to move on to a new doctor. Avoid at all cost.
My mother, husband and myself have all been patients of Dr. Johnson. My mother has passed but she thought the world of Dr. Johnson. I took her to many of her appointments and Dr. Johnson was very caring and compassionate. My husband and myself are very pleased with Dr. Johnson. I would highly advise anyone who is looking for a great Doctor to see Dr. Johnson!
This Doctor was the worst I've ever had. I normally would see his nurse whom I loved Judy Anderson who has since retired. I only had to deal with the Dr. when she was out. One such time I called on a Sunday and he was on call told him I has a little blood in my stool and could I have a refill of drug that had helped in the past. He told me to go to the emergency. It took 6 hours cost me $400 dollars they gave me the wrong drugs which I had asked the Dr for, since I had an ongoing issue with diverticulitis. I had to see his nurse the next day got the meds I needed and everything was fine. Oh did I mention I miss a number of hours at work and got a demerit.I have several more issues similar that I won't go into details. The Dr has no bedside manner at all. He is rude and abnoxious. I told him one time that a medicine he ordered made me sick and that I needed something different, his response was that was too bad I had to take it. More recently, I got cancer of the sinus. Had to go to Milwaukee for surgery. Went to him for pain meds that I was getting through him for arthritis and now needing them for more than that. He refused saying I use them too much. NOTE year and a half later I and still battling cancer and have been on lots of pain meds since then. He just didn't want to prescribe them because they are monitored wanted someone else to do it.
i was waiting in waiting room for an hour and a half, i said something to him about it, he was not nice to me, made nasty notes on my chart and because i didnt want vaccinations.
Dr. Johnson is a great doctor who is able to help in ways many other doctors were not able. He listens, he has treatments which are unique and cutting edge and has helped get the results we needed for our health problems! I highly recommend Dr. Johnson and am glad I have had the opportunity to work with him.
All around great MD.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
