doctor ballard spent the time to to tell me how he was gonna take a tumor out of me and a sured me everything would be ok.told me about the risks also. had it done in July 2023 I would recommend him.

Had a colonoscopy and endoscopy in January 2021. Never received a phone call with results. Just a note2 months later in Mythedacare chart. Very poor communication from his office!

Dr. Ballard initially saw me following a health issue. He was able to diagnosis it and successfully operate. I feel fully recovered.

Where do I start?? Dr Ballard does not have compassion or consideration for for his patients or their family members. Communication was almost non-existent. Tried to narrow down a time frame when family could be present for a medical update during lengthy hospital stay following surgery (blood clots), I was told he is on "Ballard time", meaning he comes and goes "whenever" (no specific time/routine for making patient rounds and follow ups). Family member caught up with him just as he was leaving my room and asked for an update of my condition. He said he was too busy and that they would have to walk with him to his next appointment. He aggressively handled my surgery site, despite reminding him repeatedly to be gentle. When discharged to recoup at home post-op, I had called his office many, many times to complain about the severe pain (an indication of something wrong). He refused me more or stronger pain meds. I got fed up. Final result: went to Froedtert with onset of gangrene (hence, the severe pain) and had leg amputated. Never again will I deal with Ballard!!
