Polite, honest, and explains things with concise brevity. I could not ask for more from a Healthcare professional. We went over my current health status, talked options and testing and formed a plan. All while being a solid conversationalist. I would have coffee or grab a beer with Dr Roarty any time. That is about the highest praise I give a man.

Horrible incomplete and still on going disaster. Period. Never got surgery to remove tumor because of incomplete and erroneous instructions provided by the doctor. Secret unknown Anesthesiologist canceled surgery as I laid naked on a gurney in front of the surgical suite. The alleged reason for the cancelation was very curiously for a reason that is AGAINST Provider's Policies and was said to based on incomplete instructions provided by Doctor. The IV was immediately ripped out of my arm and I was told to go home. I did. Subsequently, I pointed out incomplete and erroneous instruction to rude staff. They obviously don't care. Period. My tumor is rapidly growing and I now have abdominal/back pain. Hopefully I will get the tumor removed elsewhere before metastasis. I am a high risk patient who firmly believes that if basic and stupid problems are not corrected, people will unnecessary die from preventable cancers.

Very personable. I was in for a procedure. Dr. Roarty was very kind. Explained everything.

Rude and obnoxious.

I only saw him for less than a minute before my colonoscopy. He had no idea why I was there. He didn’t check my chart and did it take any biopsy as were indicated. He did nothing to address my issues and there was no follow up. I had severe cramping and ended up going to a different doctor who said he should have done the biopsy which would have prevented my having to go through this awful procedure less than two mo the later. They found that I had a very serious condition which he totally missed because he is either incompetent or just plan does care.

Had some very severe abdominal pains and bleeding. Scheduled a colonoscopy.The office can best be described as unorganized chaos. They mixed up days and times and I had to reschedule and they said what time to be there with no follow up.I got there and was rather rudely told Iwas two hours early. I had the name of the person who told me the time and was on speakerphone when I confirmed it so I had a second set of ears. They said I was the one in error. Then I saw the doctor for all of two minutes prior and then had the procedure. Then I saw him after for another two minutes he said he didn’t really see anything, and would see me in ten years! Nothing to explain the cramping, pains, diarrhea and so forth that I had been going through. Just collect the check for the procedure and wash those hands. I had serious cramping a few days later in Chicago and saw a real doctor.He diagnosed my condition and I am doing a lot better. Don’t even bother with him.He wants the cash for doing zero!

Too bad there is not a zero option. Not sure where the incompetence lies—Bellin, his office staff or him. Office visit requested on March 5th. Refused to schedule visit until all blood work back and a few weeks after that. Finally had phone visit on 4/21. Refused to treat issue until after another two tests. The first, his office scheduled for the following week. Once that first test was done, he wanted ANOTHER test. Asked for urgent scheduling and the office gave us an appt. for a week and a half later. Still wouldn’t treat the issue until the second test and the additional test were both done. We are still waiting for the office to call back with whether the second test can be done. Dr. Roarty and his office staff failed to place any urgency on treatment even after repeated requests. Too bad that after a month and a half of asking someone, anyone to place a little urgency on treating the issue, the patient died 3 days ago without treatment. Don’t recommend if actually sick!

I was referred to Dr. Roarty because of some abdominal pains I was experiencing and I knew right when he walked into the room, this visit wasn't going anywhere. He is smug and and arrogant, and seems to run through the basic day to day stuff. A checklist of questions. When you answer, he provides very little feedback and if you want would like to ask a question, his answer would be generic. I usually do not post negative reviews because everybody has an off day at work, including myself, but honestly, you can get more info talking to a wall than this guy. A bit harsh, I know, but sometimes honesty must prevail.

He literally saved my life, my PCP did not take my condition seriously, I called him, he reviewed my records, ordered additional testing and got me referred where I needed to go for life saving treatment. I cannot express my gratitude for his prompt, intelligent and caring attitude nearly enough.

Awesome Doctor for 22 years!
