Denise Sweeney should not be practicing medicine. Her bedside manner is repugnant and as others have stated, she talks down at you, especially if you don't go along with every word that leaves her mouth.She repeatedly told me I was having a miscarriage. It was our first and I was devastated. She prescribed Norco for the pain and sent me on my way. I continued to bleed and be in massive pain for three weeks, and ended up in the ER when the bleeding became uncontrollable.When I called her office the next day, she had me come in only to be told I was being discharged for being "belligerent" to her staff. My "belligerence" was crying and screaming in pain asking what I should do and what could possibly be happening on my way to the ER. I was acting like any frightened female going through a miscarriage AND having severe complications. She showed zero concern for my well-being and was a cold fish.I headed to the ER at Dignity immediately where it was determined by the Chief of Med that I actually had an ectopic pregnancy and emergency surgery had to be performed due to internal bleeding. My hemoglobin has fallen to 7 and I needed a transfusion. The surgeon had to perform a tubal ligation, which has now reduced my ability to get pregnant by 50%.Unless you plan on being the perfect pregnant woman with zero complications or gyno issues, AVOID DENISE SWEENEY. As you can see, she only responds to positive reviews because she truly believes she is the best OBGYN and you should be so lucky to be her patient. If you care about your life and fertility, choose an OBGYN that cares about ALL patients, not just the easy cases.

Dr. Sweeney has been the best OBGYN and really the best physician I have ever had the change to see. She is sweet, funny, caring, smart, patient, and has "what is best for the patient" practice. I was a patient of hers from 2007-2010 and would be to this day if we did not change insurance. She delivered my son and made the prenatal experience a wonderful experience with her wit, humor and care. I highly recommend treating with Dr. Sweeney if you are looking for a great doctor.

Doctor Sweeney is excellent in all capscities! She takes her time to give you the science behind any issues you may have. I have been a patient in the past, she removed ovarian cysts and it was easier than I expected. Now i am exploring options for beauty with Ultherapy and Sculpture. The staff at Associates of Womens Health is very friendly and knowledgable! Great practice for ALL of your female needs!

Honestly the best OBGYN I have ever been to. She takes her time and truly listens. She gets to the root of problems and doesn't give up. She is so easy to tell your concerns to. I have personally been going through Monalisa treatments done by her and it has changed my quality of life tremendously. He office is super clean and nice and her staff is great. Very personable and efficient staff. Highly recommend Dr. Sweeney!

Horrible person! Avoid this doctor at all costs. She is rude and condescending. You had better never have a question for her. All she will do is tell you to look the answer up on the internet and make you feel that she has absolutely no time for you. If she recommends a procedure and you want to think about it first, she will quickly end her time with you and send you to the front desk to schedule it. When I decided to switch from her practice while I was pregnant, I asked for a copy of the ultrasound she had taken to give to my new OBGYN, and her office staff told me that they did not keep a copy of it. If that is the case, then they are running a shady medical practice, because I was charged for a service and was not provided my medical records that I have a legal right to. If they did have it, then they were lying to me. Either way, I would not recommend this doctor or her office to my worst enemy. Steer clear!

I am a new patient to Dr Sweeney- first impression you get is that the dr is caring at the same time excited to meet you. Throughout my appt she asked questions, listened, reassured me, and was very detailed in all responses. I highly recommend Dr Sweeney!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sweeney for the last 13+ years. She has been compassionate and proactive thru all of the years. She is honest about options and gives me all the information to make the best decisions. Best GYN out there.

I truly adore Dr. Sweeney. She was so wonderful through all my prenatal care, delivery, and really helped me when I was dealing with postpartum depression. Unfortunately, she no longer does obstetrics, just gynecology. I highly recommend her as a gynecologist, and I will be searching high and low for someone as wonderful as her when we decide to have another baby.
