I was seen for endless kidney stones. Over 30 years and no other doctor treated the cause. I love the fact that he discovered my hyperparathyroidism and it was fixed and no more calcium stones.

Dr. Elangovan has been very supportive of my efforts to maintain the health of my single kidney. (I lost one to cancer 14 years ago.) His encouragement has helped me stay on track with habits that have helped me improve my kidney's health in the several years since I was referred to him by my PCP. His manner is very pleasant. On the few occasions when my test numbers have slipped a bit, he never made me feel as if I had failed. Rather, he kept encouraging me to do better, and I did.

Dr Elangovan cares for my mom. He is warm and empathetic, and my mom actually looks forward to seeing him. He seems genuinely concerned about her, and I appreciate that so much!

When you are out fishing and catching fish and some guys across the lake yell over, “you catching any”, you always say, “Nothing biting over here” because you don’t want to reveal your good fishing hole. Such it is with Dr. Elangovan. I should say he’s mediocre, so he is available when I need him. The fact is if your doctor rates a 5, then Dr. Elangovan is a 50. I’ve seen him for nearly 20 years now. I could string together a bunch of wonderful adjectives about his care, but you get it. Just make an appointment and you will find out for yourself. So there you have it. I have shared my “fishing hole” with you. A doctor this good deserves the recognition.

Dr. Elongovan works often through the night to intensively review patient status and ensure the best treatment protocol. He is one of those specialists that other Doctors would send family to or see as a patient. After years of his wise care I would agree. He always empowers patients to be their best and retain their optimism.
