Dr. Carey performed an immaculate surgery. I never expected it to go so well and thought I would require more time to recover but I am already back at work. I would highly recommend Dr. Carey as he an expert in the field and an undoubtedly skilled surgeon!

This wonderful doctor performed a laparoscopic vaginal hysterectomy on my wife who was diagnosed with early stages of endometrial cancer. Professional in every way. Not only did he contact me right after the surgery to tell me the results, he went to my wife's Hospital bedside the next morning to tell her and check her condition. Thank you for everything, Dr. Carey. You are truly a gift from God!

This doctor skillfully performed a radical hysterectomy & lymphendectomy laparoscopically when there was a 50/50 chance & I'd had many previous pelvic surgeries. I was completely at ease with him and anyone would be very lucky to have him as a surgeon. I hope he says in this field until he retires.

Dr. Mark Carey did my biolateral oopharectomy ( spelling)where my ovaries and a large ovarian cyst was removed laproscopically. I had been to a Gynecologist in Maple Ridge who told me that if I was 25 he would do surgery, but at 62 and in poor health, he was concerned that I would not survive surgery.OMG I asked to see another Gynecologist in Maple Ridge based on his patient reviews. Now he did not do surgery but referred me to Vancouver General Hospitals Womens Cancer Clinic and was seen Dr Janet Kwon, another good Doctor. Although my surgery got bumped back 2 weeks, as another patient had priority, I was treated really well. Dr Carey explained that he most likely would have to do the more invasive surgery because the chances were only 20% to do the laproscopic...less invasive surgery. Cervical Cancer years ago, I was nervous. Negative for pathology report on cyst and ovaries that were removed. THANK YOU Drs Carey and Kwon! VGH is the best Hospital, and I have been in. Lila Royster
