I have been insured with Michael for over a decade. He is always there for me. He was there for me when my daughter hit a deer, my wife was hit at a red light, and when my basement flooded. He has continued to review my policies and make recommendations over time. He is a great asset to have.

Michael has been my agent for over 5 years. He is knowledgable and also recommended a coverage I did not have on my old home insurance policy and it saved me big $$$$. Nice guy too.

Unresponsive and unhelpful. While Mr. Ritter remembers to send a thinly disguised happy birthday wish along with a life insurance quote, he will not respond when you need to follow up on an additional schedule to insure jewelry. Self service calls to their main customer service hotline - some reps were helpful, others outright lied that my request was being processed, only to be denied coverage after multiple follow ups (the last representative was actually very good and forwarded it to their underwriter). Meanwhile, my State Farm sales agent gave me a quote in hours. I spent over a week and countless hours on the phone explaining to different representatives of my plight with Liberty, while the State Farm sales agent actually coordinated within their different service teams themselves. State Farm now has all my former Liberty policies and then some: Auto, Home, Umbrella and now jewelry. I just got engaged (which was the jewelry I insured) and future husband's policies will roll into mine. Not a very good sales agent if you can't see the opportunity when someone is calling to insure an engagement ring. The kicker is when I called to cancel my policies, the representative still tried to retain my business and tried to put State Farm down given their recent news on auto losses. Yet somehow with my new quotes and adding jewelry policies, my total out of pocket premiums with state farm is less than what I was paying Liberty (along with a rejected jewelry policy). Liberty may not have suffered losses, but if you're unwilling to work with a client to gain additional business - good luck retaining your clients .
