List of MIchael Walsh Do's Reviews
I waited 6 months for an initial appointment with Dr. Walsh. He spent 11 minutes total with me during the appointment and the whole time would not let me speak. He wouldn’t listen when I tried to tell him why I was there, interrupted me when I tried to bring up the same issues throughout the appt. He ended up blaming everything on my periods and told me there’s nothing wrong with me. I left the appointment crying. I saw a second rheumatologist who ran some tests and it turns out I have two autoimmune diseases. He would have come to the same conclusion had he just listened to me and run some simple blood tests, but he was more concerned with getting out of the appointment as quickly as possible. I absolutely do not recommend him. Please find someone with good reviews who will listen and actually wants to help.
My review may be platonic in nature , I can only wish I can be closer to him than passing in the hallway by him. You couldn’t find a better looking and smart Nephrologist these days. It is a extremely rare combination if you know what I mean!!!
There is very little knowledge or care beyond direct diagnoses. He doesn't care to look deeper into issues, and if you're a complex patient or have Chronic Illness, he will simply "refer out" and make excuses while shaking his head. Unfortunately, the referrals hardly ever happen. I had to fight for months simply to get a PT referral, much less any others. By the time I got to my referrals, I was told I needed a rheumatologist. Moreover, I waited over a year for a referral to a specialty center, and was in contact with Dr. Walsh and his staff throughout the process. Each time I was told all the paperwork was done, and to wait. Only recently did I find out that he never completed the paperwork needed for this extremely necessary specialist, and has left me waiting for over a year after telling me that all the paperwork was completed. I would strongly recommend a more organized and detail oriented Provider who understands the needs of patients.
I have had the extreme pleasure of being in the care of Dr Walsh. since his arrival to Hamilton. His caring and attentiveness is second to none. He explains and answers questions clearly and takes the time to offer further comments. Truly sorry to lose him as a doctor.
He was very thorough.
As my experience comes direct from working in the same environment as he does I can tell you that Dr Walsh is very respectful and kind , his passion for his career says it all , he has bedside manners well and high above the average of young doctors these days. He is definitely someone you will have no regrets to trust your health issues with when it comes to this specialty. 5/5
Found Dr. Walsh to be very caring and competent. Is currently researching whether I have a very rare auto immune disease. Went above and beyond by calling another doctor (without my even asking) to move a scheduled appointment up by a month. Found his examination to be thorough and not rushed in any way. Ordered a battery of blood work to rule out other possibilities. Felt like he was truly interested in me as a patient and not just another slot on today's schedule. Would highly recommend
Really attractive and attentive!! Definitely recommend

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
