List of MIchael A. Donnelly's Reviews
This man was rude, condescending, and inept. I went to him when I began urinating blood. He made me feel like it was a bother to him, but I was so concerned I stuck it out while he did all his little tests, and then he assured me nothing was wrong. When I continued to pee blood I went to Vogle (I won't call either of them a doctor) at the Beloit Cancer Clinic, He also assured me nothing was wrong. He went so far as to tell me it's "normal" for a man my age, 64, to pee blood. So I let it go. Less then 6 months later, my bladder is full of cancer, and into my kidney. I blame both these quacks and the Beloit Health System. Thank God for St Mary's Hospital, I hope they can save me.

I meant Dr Donnelly when I was very ill in the hospital. As it happens, they discovered I had a very badly abscessed kidney with a large staghorn calculus. The kidney wasn't viable so it had to come out. It ended up being a life and death situation. Dr Donnelly was so warm and compassionate that I would have liked to adopt him as my dad even though I suspect he's not much older than me. Both he and Dr Tomera saved my life that day. I will be forever grateful to them both.
Dr. Donnelly was not empathetic, nor was he a good listener. He dismissed my symptoms and their severity both times I saw him. I sought care somewhere else for Interstitial Cystitis. See Dr. Tomera in Beloit, NOT Dr. Donnelly!
This doctor visited my father in Beloit Hospital and treated him with disrespect. Dr. Donnelly berated my father, hurt him with a harsh exam of the prostate (which is cancerous), and didn't help with the severe testicular swelling. If this doctor was frustrated with an elderly man, he should have excused himself until he could find his patience and looked to find a solution. Dr. Donnelly's behavior is inexcusable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
