List of Christopher Evanich Md's Reviews
Had my knee replaced 4 years ago by Dr Evanich. Waiting room always packed. Most of the time you see the PA. Experience at MOSH was awful. Staff clearly not enjoying their jobs. Post operative care was almost non-existant. I had an emergent situation and called Dr Evanich's office several times, spoke with receptionist but none of the doctors called me back. Ended up in urgent care. I had problems and pain with my replacement from the beginning. Was always told it was still "healing". After 2 years, I was referred to a different orthopedic for a second opinion. Turns out 2 pieces were loose under my kneecap causing horrible pain. Recently had revision surgery and am recovering. Have to go thru complete PT again, not to mention pain and suffering. Dr Evanich's patient load is way too high, an assembly line, no room for individualized attention. You are just a number.
I've had two appt to see this doctor & I have never seen him!!! I have left phone messages and never have received calls back
I have had two knees and a hip replacement back in 2007 and 2009 and 2021 for the hip and I always found Dr. Evanich to be very informative and kind and is an excellent surgeon. The Mosh hospital too is excellent. I recommend both the hospital on 27th st. and Dr. Evanich! You may have to wait in his office a little longer but are not all good things worth waiting for, especially hips and knees that work again!
Dr. Evanich replaced both of my knees and one of my hips. I have nothing but praise for him. He has a very good bed side manner. He won’t talk down to you. He is genuinely concerned for your well being. I have had absolutely no problems with any of my surgeries.
I had my knee replaced 3 weeks and 3 days by Dr E and his team. This process was so smooth, from scheduling to joint class to hospital - all went as everyone told me it would. Thought I had an issue postop at night, his PA called me immediately, listened to my concern, gave me follow up advice and all was well - but if it wasn't, I felt like he was just another phone call away. The whole team is amazing, this does not go this smooth JUST because of Dr Evanich - but I would recommend him to anyone. I'm recovering well, they are responsive to any of my needs. Don't wait to do this. Yes it's going to hurt, plan on it, but if you do the work, you will be moving along in no time.
Dr.Evanich is probably a great doctor if your surgery goes well but not if you have issues like I had. He kept blaming my slow recovery on leg length discrepancy, which my primary care doctor ruled out as well as his saying it was because of another issue. He over promises and under sells. I expected more from him and am deeply disappointed in my outcome.
Excellent Doctor, excellent results, had both my knees Revised total knee replacements he takes the time to listen, excellent bedside manner and is easy to talk to!! Felt safe and well cared for both times, couldnt ask for a better orthopedist!!
Excellent surgeon. Be prepared for long wait in his waiting room. Appointment times do not sync with actual visit
I was referred to him for knee pain and received multiple injections but rarely saw the doctor. Saw a different NP/PA just about every visit. When I mentioned that my hip was very painful an X-ray was taken and I received a cortisone injection. No relief and was told that I couldn’t get any thing stronger for pain. After months of increasing pain my oncologist ordered a bone scan which showed AVN, not the OA I was told I had. Saw another ortho and am scheduled for a hip replacement . Dr Evanich came highly rated but his PA totally missed the right diagnosis. I suffered for many months to the point of almost total disability before my oncologist found the reason!
Dr. Evanich rates 5 stars in my book. He treated both of my knees and them my right hip when it acted up. When surgery was inevitable, I now I wanted him to do the work. I am now 3 years removed from the hip replacement and everything is going wonderfully.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
