Mary A. Werz's Online Review Report Card

Dr Werz was a fantastic doctor for my husband, Always took time to listen to both of our concerns and truly cared about his health. She took time out of her busy schedule to call and check on how he was doing, many times on her way home. Thank you Dr. Werz for caring. Yes appointments were farther out at times, but she would fit him ahead of his scheduled appointment if possible, if he wasn't doing well. I hold her in high regard !!!!

She cared more about talking about she dogs then my mothers care. Grossly miss diagnosed my mother and said test were normal which clearly they weren't. She shouldn't be caring for anyone!! Terrible Doctor!!! I AM ONLY LEAVING 1 STAR BECAUSE YOU CANT LEAVE IT AT ZERO. SHE GETS ZERO STARS IN MY BOOK!!!

This has the be the worst Doctor I have ever had to deal with. She has this complex that she is the only one who matters. She missed the diagnosis on my mother and lied about test results. She should be ashamed of herself and rethink how she treats others that come to her for help. Awful manners, no eye contact, was rude to my mother and made her feel belittled.

Dr Werz is a risk to her patients. She does not listen or care, and led to a clear misdiagnosis. Steer clear!

She doesn’t listen, care, or make eye contact. She said that I am over reporting seizures that I have had IN public. Once she decided this, she didn’t care about my 3 seizures in 3 months because they “aren’t likely.” She gave me a piece of paper with 2 medicines (one of which my record says I am allergic to) and told me to “research my options.” Isn’t that what my $500 10 minute appointment was for? ...

Waste of time and $$ and potentially dangerous to patients. Dr Werz lets her personal biases dictate her level of patient care. I had one meeting with Dr Werz. I was summarily dismissed via an email a few weeks later where she dismissed a prior diagnosis and literally said I simply worry too much.

Dr Werz is amazing obviously great with her patients she treated me wonderfully made me feel comfortable and able to trust her as my neurologist I’m usually really picky with my doctors and she’s amazing she listened and answered to all mine and my husband’s questions and she’s really understanding she’s a busy doctor but gets to you as soon as possible she puts your care as her priority. SSM should have more doctors like her!!!

I left this Dr's office and sobbed. She focused in on only the things she was interested in (clinical depression, insomnia) and ignored my physical symptoms so she could grill me on my knowledge of dietary choices (weight bias, anyone). When I told her I'd gone from a lifelong habit of 4-5 hours of sleep to being exhausted all of the time, she proclaimed, "No one really needs more than 6 hours, anyway." In her disinterest, she misread my record, spouting off past diagnosis that were incorrect (and upsetting). She scheduled me for a test 4 months down the road, "when we can find some time for you." That test will be cancelled. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone else, why would I subject myself to her lack of care again.

Highly dissatisfied! She may be a smart woman but did not have any bedside manner and made me feel like a bad person for having seizures. Very very unhelpful as she would never answer a question I had but was quick to tell me there was a website to research to get my answer.
