List of Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire's Reviews
Front desk (lady was wearing a yellow shirt and glasses) was very rude this morning Thursday, September 23rd around 7:25 am at the Marshfield Clinic on Craig Road, Eau Claire WI. My mom is practicing her English, so the front desk lady was impatient and kept directing questions at me, instead of my mom who is the patient. Because my mom can't speak properly, she responded with attitude that there isn't a patient with a birthday of 2 9 which my mom was trying to say June 9. She should not work in a field with people from different backgrounds, disabilities, etc.
Wish I could give it negative stars 3 and a 1/2 hours in urgent care people coming in with less wrong with them over 30 people get in to be seen before my kid for my kid it takes 2 hours just to get a covid test obedtest not acceptable One of their own nurses came into urgent care in-and-out in less than 30 minutes
I’m not one to complain but my god this place is terrible!! My cousin warned me before I came. Her exact words were “good luck I will Pray for you” when I told her I was being transferred here and now I can see why! I will NEVER let them take me here again!! I will have a say in how I’m treated and where my care is next time!!!
they have helped my kids and me a lot. they have some great nurses on the labor and delivery department and were so nice when I had my daughter 2 years ago
I was the only one in the urgent care waiting room... It took over an hour just to be seen. One of the nurses walked by and was even shocked at how long I had been waiting there and was surprised I didn’t have a room yet. This is ridiculous.
I went there this afternoon after speaking to the nurse line. I had COVID a few weeks back, and it felt like I had bronchitis and also had some wheezing in my lungs. Per the nurse I spoke with, I headed to Urgent Care at this facility. The Doctor that helped me stated that they wouldn't treat my bronchitis, because steroids can cause more problems with COVID patients. The Doctor also would not treat my anxiety due to having COVID and all the problems since getting out of quarantine. The Doctor did say they could hear wheezing in my lungs, and that is the ONLY reason she would prescribe an inhaler. Very kind of you, thanks. After returning home, I was speaking with SEVERAL other nurses around protocol for this type of case. They told me that their protocol is different for their hospitals (in WI and FL), and that they DO in fact treat bronchitis with steroids AND provide anxiety meds for COVID patients. I went there, and they made me feel like there was nothing wrong with me, and that my concerns weren't legitimate. I will be switching to either Mayo or Prevea for my future visits. I've been with Marshfield for over 20 years, and this is by far the biggest disappointment yet.
Delivering during a pandemic I was nervous, on top of all the nerves of becoming a new mom. I had the most amazing experience at Marshfield Clinic in Eau Claire! My midwife, Kim, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and knew how we were progressing every step. We also had two AMAZING nurses the first day there. I couldn't have asked for 3 better staff to help bring our baby girl into this world. the rest of the nurses during our stay were good too.. Should also say the Doctor who preformed our c-section, Dr. Hirsch was very kind as well. If you're undecided which hospital to choose I highly recommend looking into this one!
I like the place
Can't remember the resident assistant who worked with Dr. Scherr today but he was absolutely phenomenal!!! Felt very comfortable with him during my visit!!
Recently delivered there and my husband and I both agree it was excellent care! The midwives and L&D nurses are truly amazing and we felt so supported throughout our stay. Thank you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
