List of Jessica L Miller's Reviews
Have been seeing Dr. Miller for over 10 years. Best doctor I've ever been to! Listens, talks to patient, no rush appointment , TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY WAY!
Terrific doctor. Clear, thoughtful, warm, intelligent, resourced, willing to dig into questions and concerns and to explore options. I appreciate how simply and directly Dr Miller presents options, and together we choose a best path forward. She's also practical, which is great if you've got kids and commitments to keep in mind. Been seeing her for a few years and I trust her partnership in managing my health.
Dr. Miller is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. She is very personable and has always been attentive to whatever issues I have experienced.
My former provider recently transitioned into a new role and recommended I see Dr. Miller. What a mistake. I have never been treated so poorly by a provider at One Medical. I found her to be condescending and lacking of any compassion. I was diagnosed with a chronic condition by my functional medicine doctor four months ago. Today, at my first and last visit with Dr. Miller, she immediately questioned the validity of this diagnosis and made me feel as if I were making it up. I was so upset that I stood up and told her she wasn't the right fit for me. If I had an opportunity to do it over again, I would tell her she could never comprehend the physical pain and exhaustion that came with this condition, and that she is everything that is wrong with western medicine. If it weren't for the fact that I've been at One Medical for years, I would be leaving the practice entirely, but I know well enough to know she's an anomaly. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from her.
In 2015, my wife was seeing Dr. Miller for a pinched nerve in her hip. It is well-documented that my wife has high blood pressure, which didn't stop Dr. Miller from prescribing a pain medication that raised her blood pressure. The result was that my at-the-time-38-year-old wife suffered a stroke. My mother had died of one six months earlier and I was in full-on paranoid mode and made my wife go to the hospital when she thought the numbness was a symptom of the pinched nerve. They saved her life at St. Josephs hospital in St. Charles. But I would NEVER recommend Dr. Miller to anyone.
Office staff are always happy to help and make every effort to follow up on my requests for referrals. Thank you .
Dr. Miller is a very smart, caring, doctor. She listens to each patient and treats on an individual basis. I thought she was the best.

There are few doctors embody such wisdom and caring as Dr. Miller. She is smart, caring and an independent thinker who I trust deeply. She is a true lifesaver and life enhancer.
I love Dr. Miller. I used to go to a very highly rated doctor in Berkeley, and stayed with the former doctor for about a decade.Going to Dr. Miller has been like night and day. Yes, both doctors were kind. Yes, both doctors seemed incredibly well-informed and excellent in their field. The biggest difference is that Dr. Miller practices her kindness by sharing with me her knowledge and making me feel like an informed part of my own health care. My former doctor often dismissed my concerns, which I brought up very rarely, and made me feel like I was imagining non-existent problems. Dr. Miller took the time to dig in detail about the questions/issues I brought, to talk with me about ways forward to diagnose possible problems while not making me feel like I should panic, then to discuss various options for treatment.I feel like my doctor is really, truly listening to me as a real human being, rather than a series of possible symptoms and statistics that belie those symptoms. I love the office, the front desk, the kind & efficient phlebotomists who get it done despite my very very tiny veins which make it hard to get blood from me, and the timeliness with which I can schedule and be seen and be done with my appointments. Stellar all around. Thank you, One Medical.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
