He rocks! Looks young heck i asked him when Dr comming in Lmao. His staff always treats you 1st Class. The surgery was a tricky one my ankle was dead no blood flow a real messed up. i was thinking when I came to i would be looking at Prosthetics. Not the case somehow by the Grace of God he got me walking again. Real Great Surgeon with awesome explanations of everything no BS straight shotter. I'm a young 55 With TBI and took a lot of time making me feel comfortable answering some questions over and over. From A to Z the whole staff and Drs Surgeons all were Awesome. Highley recomend them. Sarah Burton Also Rocks makes us feel cared for.

Was referred to him after I broke my ankle. First follow up was rushed, did not feel like he listened to me or remotely cared about me or my questions. Second follow up I was given an X-ray and told my break was healed and I was free to walk without the boot. Within 24 hours my ankle/leg swelled immensely along with terrible pain. I checked myself into the emergency room and after another X-ray was told my ankle was STILL broken and I shouldn’t have been off my boot. Never followed up with him again.

I had seen a couple other Podiatrists and had zero success relieving my pain. Dr Scharer was non nonsense, quickly diagnosing and performing surgery that alleviated my 2 year condition.

I saw Dr. Scharer a total of 2 times in the past 9 weeks. It was hard to tell if he believed my pain was real or not, but I received skepticism from the first day. My MRI came back today, he reviewed it and said my foot was fractured. Still, he didn't seem to care. Just told me to wear the boot and that is it. Real short and direct, he didn't sympathize with my pain or show any desire to help. Anytime I had a question or needed something it was phone tag with nurses and unhelpful solutions from Dr. Scharer. I would find a different doctor if you are in need of help.

Dr. Scharer listened carefully and understood my goals to eliminate the heel pain I had been experiencing. His no nonsense approach was welcomed. After evaluating all options, we elected to have the issue addressed with surgery. Results have been excellent! Pain free and on the path of returning to an active lifestyle.

I had One other podiatrist from Prevea do one bunion and Dr. Scharer do the other and you can't even notice the scar unlike Prevea doctor. My lay up was a few days and I could walk. Everything about Dr. Scharer gets an A+. Thank for your positive attitude and the ability to make a patient feel at ease.

Outstanding surgeon who cares greatly about his patients he is very compassionate and intelligent. He is helping me get back to a normal life after suffering for over 11 years I am more then happy with him and his work I am proud to call him my surgeon I would recommend him to anyone
