On my first visit to the office I was not too sure about the staff, not very friendly nor did they explain what they were doing during the tests. When it came time for surgery at Baycare surgery center I was really impressed with the care I received, from the minute I arrived until I left. Dr Chen was very good at explaining the procedure to me pre op on surgery day, she was great and again went over everything about the procedure. On the second trip to do the other eye, the staff was totally different. Not as friendly or seem to care as much as the other staff. But again Dr Chen was great. I did NOT care for the nurse anesthetist on the second surgery. He was cocky and actually lied to me, which I knew because I worked in a hospital for 44 years. That really did make me mad and I asked the recovery room nurse to have him call me but I guess he didn’t like being called out in a lie. But otherwise I would recommend Baycare Surgery center to anyone.
