Got accused by his office of 'trolling' for prescription medication 5 days after total knee replacement. I made a list of about 12 things he messed up after my surgery, eventually requesting to see another doctor.

1- Didn’t spend 2 minutes with me prior to surgery (Tuesday) 2- Gives 3 days worth of pain killers post op (knee replacement) 3- Called Friday 9am and left a message for a nurse to call me for possible infection. Never returned the call. 4- Went to the ER Friday late afternoon with an infection 5- Refused to see me on Monday in excruciating pain 6- Ended up requesting a different doctor for future follow up

He is meticulous, easy to talk to, explains until you completely understand and always wants your input. He is a well respected doctor/surgeon among his peers, his patients and the public.

I am going to Dr Dimitris in Manitowoc instead of Sheboygan because he is a hip specialist not a general surgeon. He replaced my right hip in 2017 and I could have walked out of the hospital! In 3 weeks he is replacing my left hip. He and his staff are professional, timely and kind. They make me feel like a person rather than a number which a hospital in Sheboygan did! He and staff are highly recommended, worth the short drive to Manitowoc!!

I can't say enough about the Doc. Unbelievable experience! Both knees at the same time, 2 days in the hospital and 2 weeks in a nursing home. I went home and was allowed to drive after 15 days. I wish I'd have done it years ago!
