I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Tower Clock in general and Dr. Kurt in particular. I opted for the multi-focus lens replacement and everything leading up to the actual procedure was handled professionally. I was thoroughly briefed on all aspects of the replacement process . The actual procedures were free of stress. Recovery was rapid. Throughout, Dr. Kurt maintained a relaxed, informative style that kept me at ease. At the post-surgery examination, it was revealed that additional minor laser adjustment would be required to bring my sight to a perfect 20/20. These procedures, taking less than 5 minutes each, went without incident. However, I received two bills for unexpected copays that added considerably to my out-of-pocket costs. I questioned the charges, and to Dr. Kurt's credit, we discussed the charges and were able to arrive at a solution to the issue. There are times when miscommunication occurs, and this was one of them. The way in which that miscommunication aftermath is handled goes a long way in determining patient satisfaction. Tower Clock and Dr. Kurt listened to my concerns and handled this professionally. As a result, I have no qualms in assigning a top rating of 5 to my experience and remaining a Tower Clock patient in the future.

The cataract surgery did not go well. I paid $6000 for the multifocal lens. One week after the cataracts I was told that I needed a second surgery. The second surgery took less than one minute per eye and I was charged another $3200, My eyesight is no better now than it was before I spent the $9000. After seeing a cornea specialist, I am now wearing contact lens over the cataract lens to correct my vision . Terribly disappointed. Not what I expected ,

Cheerful, friendly and professional staff. Dr. Schwiesow (Dr. Kurt) explained everything in great detail and presented my options. The decisions were left to me and at no time did I feel pressured to choose a more or less expensive option. My surgery was a little more complicated than some (very bad astigmatism) but I'm seeing way better than I thought possible. Great Job To All!!!
