Very disappointed in dr Chins visit.. went in for major knee injury. He talked about my back problem. Said I could have a nerve block when the swelling went down. When I called back a week after I was told I need a knee replacement in order to get a nerve block. Left me confused about any future follow-ups.
This doctor looked at my MRI to tell me I probably had a pinched nerve. He said he would not order a narcotic for my pain. He literally gets out of sorts and fears opiates ordered by other physicians as well. He intervenes with other doctors practices by approaching management to stop/force them from ordering opiates. This results in probable discrimination by the health care organization but not the doctor.
After being referred to this clinic by my doctor for back pain from 2 spinal fusions and hip pain from hip surgery I was set up with an appt with Dr. Chen. He came in and pushed on my hip incisions asking if it hurts and when I said yeah he decided I needed a hip injection which I told him wasn't happening. He then pushed both thumbs into my back incisions asking the same thing...when I moved away in pain he asked the same thing and when I said yes that hurts he says ," oh I think you need the next level up fused" um no you need your head checked but thanks for wasting my time...please don't waste your time with this Dr.
Please don’t waste your time seeing this doctor. He will not provide you the care you need. He literally told me I “ wasted my time by coming to him.” What kind of doctor says that? Extremely disappointed in the lack of care provided. One star is too much. If you don’t want to provide health care to patients then don’t call yourself a health care provider.
After requesting to be seen at Aurora. Dr. Chen refused to see me because I have depression. He made the assumption that my other pain clinic had not decided to call me back, when this was not the reason. I am a Medical Biller and I wanted a hospital with a reputable billing team. My coworkers suggested Aurora. If you do have mental health issues of any kind. Be prepared that Dr. Chen will not see you.
Dr. Chen listens too you as a Whole person. He helps you get the relief your looking for and need. Thank you
Xinquin Chen, MD and staff is one physician and nursing group to avoid for chronic pain management. He and his staff lost a Class II narcotic pain medication script, which Chen transferred from Baycare Green Bay to a remote Aurora pharmacy within the partnered Baycare ?aurora network. The arrogance and lack of standard of care by this physician and staff which ensued following this event was deplorable.
A little difficult to understand at times. Excellent bedside manner. Always answered all my questions. Helped me chose the best surgeon for my needs

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
